Agree! They are one of the few artists I admire. No cussing, no swearing, no superficial song topics. Just pure emotions and art. LANY is soooo underrated!
Don't you find this song so sad? The way I see it, it basically talks about how sometimes we care too much for someone thinking that there's this something going on between us but cracked up in the end coz it's all in our mind.
Paul just sounds like a jerk in this song. Love the band but this song makes me just depressed. I can’t be the only one who feels sorry for the other person in the situation. Either don’t use people or if you are hell bent on using people be REALLY clear about your expectations with them beforehand. I’m seeing them in concert this month and I know they are going to play this song. I’ll probably be the only one NOT singing along lol 😂 l’ll probably get some looks. This song actually rings true to a lot of situations. It’s a dangerous mix when one person who falls hard falls for someone who is always naturally casual. They take a hangout as a date, they take sex as a relationship rather than a hookup. And when it fizzles out the person who always falls hard feels hurt and blames it entirely on the other person who doesn’t fall in any situation. So whose in the wrong? The answer is no one. It’s a different experience for the two people. Unfortunately it’s the casual person that always has to be the one to defend themselves first when they technically did nothing wrong. That’s just who they are. As long as they didn’t physically or verbally or intentionally emotionally abuse you, you have no side of the story. You were just the fool that never learns.

its been a year since i become a fan of LANY, i listened to every songs of them and feel broken all the time but somehow i found it comforting. Thank you LANY for making good songs. 🌷
That little guitar solo at 2:24 is really great and fits the song perfectly. I hope LANY incorporates more of this aspect in his future music. It’s a big reason why I like him and I know I share that same sentiment with many others
