this song has come on the radio many times. I Live with my grandma due to my mom passing away when i was 12 months old from cancer.. And My dad is a unstable druggy. She Adopted me when i was 9. We always cry when this comes on the radio. My Grandma says its because it makes her think about what she could've done to make her son better (my dad), she felt like she messed up on so much raising him, and she wished she could redo it, thats why shes such a amazing grandma to me.. This song played and I just treasured that low key moment with them. They likely didn't notice that internally I was both grateful and tormented. When my depression got worse at age 14, i started to isolate myself and now im 21 and have no friends. I don’t mind i guess but sometimes i wish i had someone. Especially when something cool happens or i learn something fascinating i think, “i NEED TO TELL-“ and remember that i have no one to talk to. I love my family but we have nothing in common so i can’t talk to them about anything. In conclusion, i might be alone but i don’t always feel alone but when i do...it sucks. My brother died 2 years ago and we weren’t close either but during his last few months here, we started to talk a little but more. I started to feel like maybe we could be not only siblings but maybe friends too. We didn’t get the chance to obviously so i daydream about how it would’ve been. My imagination saves me.

My mom just passed away less than 2 weeks ago, the overwhelming sadness you feel when you lose your last parent is unimaginable. I have so much regret, I should have seen her more, spent more time with her, and just called her for no other reason than to just say hi. Luckily, I got to see her in the hospital before she passed. Being the great mom that she was, as she saw me crying she was trying to console me telling me everything will be alright and that we sure had some good times together. I can not implore you enough, spend time with your parents and tell them you love them. You never know if it will be the last time.
