We always shop there, some things (meat, chicken) are more expensive but most things are cheaper than the smaller supermarket. Great fresh bread & cakes & the hot, in store made take away food like pasta, roast chicken & potatoes etc comes with everything you need & it’s hot, very tasty & fresh for around €5 per dinner, easy to take back to your apartment & stick in the microwave for a nice meal with no washing up! 5ltr of water less than €1 (cheap) in June 2023

Theres a good range in Mercadona but we find some things very cheap while others are expensive. Lidls definitely offers the best value in town but we use most of the supermarkets at various times either in Puerto del Carmen or Playa Honda if we are passing through there. Its a shame the Overseas shops closed in town , they were great for the odd things that us Brits just cant do without or are hard to find in other shops.

The coffee is very cheap there! The prices are lower than in Germany! Lovely video Vince❤🎉😊

Hi Vince, Nice vid. To get cheap items I go to Lidl PDC. To do real shopping I go to Mercadonna. Prices supermarket are 66% of what I pay in 🇳🇱. Fish department is really super and also the Jambon Iberico beeing carved life! 🇪🇸🇮🇨🌴🌞🏖️😎🇳🇱
