I just love the family gatherings and when family and friends visit they start cooking and bring out the food. They use to do that in the southern states USA but young people don’t do that now days unless they have older grandparents and aunts and uncles. Lao Li is very smart. He could be a teacher, architect, chef, great husband, father,agriculturalist or whatever he set his mind to achieve for his life to be happy.
I love their gatherings too! My multicultural twenty-somethings and their spouse's love to gather at our new home and cook, especially during the holidays and for birthdays. My oldest son and his wife arrived last Thanksgiving with food, spices, cookware and utensils 😮. There was a lots of laughter and talking. It was wonderful!
I agree! I am old enough to remember dinners like this where food was transferred to serving dishes on the table. Now it seems we all serve from the stove top … I too am from the Deep South, Louisiana.

Felista is blessed to have a surrogate auntie, surrogate brothers (uncles for the children), and even surrogate grandparents for the children in addition to her husband and father-in-law, grandpa. The community sees each other as family. I loved when Watson brought gifts for all the uncles and aunties in the community. You can feel and see the goodwill and care towards one another. Sorry the weather prevented others from joining the meal. Please take your time and develop a strong sensible business plan. You can't rush good fortune but you can position yourself to receive it. You all are honest, sincere, and industrious. I'm sure your partnership will succeed.

Doudou's is just a little boy but talks like an adult n he picked a piece of chicken n served it to uncle Xiao Zhen.
