It's kinda sad, about 99% of Laos women dont actually like foreigners. I've asked too many of them, and surprisingly, they're more honest than Thai women . Thai women will lie about most everything to save their image . But I do prefer Laos style more . 😅
@NowinLao most of the women you see with guys , especially traveling Laos are actually from Thailand or elsewhere . Most guys I've talked to living in Laos have been there for years and had to import their girlfriends from Thailand 🇹🇭
Must be the people you talk to.. all the foreigners I know living here are with, or married to Lao. You're not going to be able to have your own place "importing" a Thai girl 😐 Again.. where you pulling those stats from? Or is it a ".. everyone I talk to stat?" 😏
@NowinLao Even in the city (Vientiane) you don't see many foreigners if any with Lao women . You live within a small group of people that happened to be married , so that's understandable. I've studied this as well as Thailand, Cambodia , and Laos for the past 15 years . That's longer than my masters in Psychology took . But I didn't mean to put you in a defensive position. Just pointing out facts and cultural trends .
@@captureitlive The size of the community I live in has nothing to do with the amount of people I know throughout Laos and the women we have met in all provinces, and what they say to my wife. Your 99% stat is not even close.
Looks like a lot of fun. What a way to cleanse your soul , with a water gun. It looks like Mina doesn't mind the water. Hope Neenee is doing ok. We noticed her limping. Harriet and i are working to save a little more money to take this trip for the next Lao New Year Celebrations. All the best to you all 👍👍👍 Jim and Harriet
Check this vid out.. I show you exactly where we got them from 👌 Happy Pi Mai 🎊 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6ozJkIxHozU.htmlsi=A7hcZeXSLrtsXi6n
Crazy how quiet that was in the daytime! And then cancel it totally? We were in Luang Prabang for all of New Year’s and it was jumping every day starting around noon. The main street was blocks of soaking wet people and loud music and beer flowing. We had a great time especially hanging out on a street corner with a local family sharing beer and wetting down all passersby! In VTE now and it’s stinking hot without the water fights.
Sawasdee Pi Mai, Neenee, Mina and Todd. The parade was great, I loved the monks water hose! Mina seemed to enter into the spirit of things very quickly, once she realised that it was OK to wet everybody. What a shame about the other events, but then this is SE Asia wherte organisation has never been a strong point. Despite the set backs I think that Mina enjoyed herself which is all that matters. Enjoy your family time away. Praying for safe travel. God bless you all. 😀❤🙏
Happiest Lao New Year!! Yaaay! After following you and your wife on yall's fun adventures, I finally got to be in one of your clips!!! @5:45 May this year brings more happiness and prosperity in yall's life! Oh and a speedy recovery to your beautiful wife! 🎉🎉💦💦💦🎉🎉
I'm going to remember this Pi Mai in Vientiane fondly, I don't have a real reference point for what past Pi Mai's were like but it was my first Pi Mai in Laos. Before I didin't have any local friends but I made some during the craziness and calibrations, I haven't been here long, but it was fun. I didn't really do any daytime stuff as I had some work to do online but I made friendships that will hopefully last years or my lifetime. I also got very, very wet, I was glad I had a waterproof bag for my phone, but next year I'll also get one for my wallet so I don't have such soggy money 😅
@@NowinLao If you meet good people even a mediocre event can be a great memory, and there are so many good people to meet here, thanks for the videos you've made, it's made it easier to move here.
Great video. It’s a shame Beer Lao wasn’t organized. Great seeing all of you. I feel sorry for NeeNee watching her limping. I pray she’s healing quickly. Of course, the little Princess is adorable as always. Stay safe, mate. Cheers.
Wasn’t that great when the lady recognised you and said she watched your channel. You’re doing something right Todd, Neenee and Mina. Window Up!!!!! 😂😂
That was so funny.. went up to wet them, then thought better not because of how they were dressed, so wet the tuk tuk instead... HEY! I WATCH YOUR RU-vid LOL
Nice colourful video after the villages videos,. 2019 looked brilliant, good job that many people didn’t rock up for the 2024 event, you can see the disappointment on people’s faces,. To be fair Lao songkran looks better than Thailands efforts,. Neenee is limping better,. !, Mina is life and soul of the party, such a happy little girl, is she neenee’s daughter ? Loving the matching combo of songkran Hawaii shirts,.cheers,.
Hi Mike.. watch this video. It will clear up who Mina is and why she is with us. Take care mate 🙏 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Gnt1d7F8X-E.htmlsi=3wWqYeTMXca3qkYE
..and then this one. There were a lot of other videos in-between but these two should bring you up to where we are now 👌 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cq5EN-Uisy0.htmlsi=cUctS_7VynQ5Y3Ih
Looks more calm and civilized than in Thailand. Songkrang is just too crazy snd kind of thuggish over there now. Really enjoy your family. And thanks for all your good work. I was in Vientirne in 2017. Hope to return and do something for the people. Thanks.
You didn’t us down Todd! Only the events let you guys and us viewers down. Shame on them. And hope you guys stay safe and happy new year. May all best come to you guys. Can’t wait for more contents and stay safe.
@NowinLao 🤣🤣🤣, how long you in vang vieng for? I leave here on the bike on 17th to head back to vientiane, obviously having a stop over somewhere on the way bacl, if your still there I'll stop off and we'll catch up for a beer
Too Bad Beer Lao let everyone down, the next time people reach into the Beer cooler and have a choice I'm sure alot of people will remember the that incident. Great Marketing Skills.
Howdy Todd,,Neenee and Mina,, well,,that was a bit of a let down! Still a lot of pretty women around. It kinda seems like they might be trying to hard to cater to the farang crowd. It is a purely local holiday,,farangs are just there to party. Maybe there's a new hot scene this year? Who knows? My niece had to have enjoyed herself a little,,because there was water involved and we know Mina has a bit of duck or fish😂😅 hopefully it's better in V.Vlol take care of yourselves. Hey Mina,,,Uncle Marlon ❤❤❤❤s you! Lol poor Neenee and her foot😢 Ttyl,,,Marlon
Hi Todd, Saturday night that whole area was rocking. Maybe the heat was just too much during Saturday mid-afternoon? We just missed you yesterday during the parade, we was over at That Luang to honor my Mia’s grandparents. Later, Carl
Lol.. the heats never been too much for them. Thinking just poor organising.. still setting up at 6pm. Anyways we found parties in Vang Vieng. See ya soon mate 👍
Vientiane has a lot to do if it ever wants to compete with the festivals Luangprabang puts on. Advertising and promotion would be a good start 😏 Hope you guys are having a crazy fun time in SR. Happy New Year 🎊
Foreigners coming to Laos building hotels and businesses claiming land as if it’s their country. Being Laotian I hate that. Bringing the cost of visiting Laos prices up when generally Laos is a pretty cheap country to visit.
