This seven-minute video, 'Rejected for Christ', tells the moving stories of three converts in the Buddhist nation of Laos who remain strong in their faith, despite opposition.
The predominant Religion of Laos is Buddhism and the organization of the community of the Monks through out from generation to generation and may have an opportunity to recruit the people. But We the people of Laos do truly respect what ever you choose to believe in, what you choose to worship as you pleases in America or other country around the world... Laos country does believed and lived by the old ways in like traditional ways of Laos and still happening up to 2019, it does make things a lot more challenging for those to go outside our religious or an outside coming in to Laos to recruit the people or converting. I lived in the United State now and still continue to practice Buddhism.. my cousin are Baptist as moron and other family member are actually Christian and Jesus Christ.... but we all can sit and eat together over warm sticky rice and papaya salad along with grill fish or meat..
Thank you for these powerful examples of faith in Christ. Choosing Jesus over all others is a tough decision, but the purest form of being a genuine follower of Jesus.
Don't worry my dear..from the time God formed you in your mother's womb..you were ordained and sanctified and set apart by God to be an outcast to the world so as to be an in cast in heaven
Wow... Such a beautiful woman! I am stunned! These people are very brave and humble! God bless them and their families and the people of Laos! May the name of Jesus be known and praised in Laos, Indochina, and all of Asia!
I am from Laos and I can understand why her parents were mad. Laos is a Buddhism country and if someone in there family goes to a Christian church they will be afraid that the culture will go away because Laos is beautiful because of many things but also its Buddhas and beautiful temples and they don't want to loose that.
If Laotians don't find their Creator - Jesus Christ, there is no way that they can live forever. We love Laotians, so we will continue to give the good news of Jesus Christ.
@@iamstrange4013 If you repent, Jesus Christ will cleanse you from all your sins. He is the only one who can do that. Please repent, and believe in Jesus now!
@@earlysda what a nonsense it is!😂.if he can repent all my sins,i'll do all the fucking bad things and then ask repent from him will he forgive me😂😂.what a logic christianity is.and how you say like that can you provide SCIENTIFIC AND LOGICAL fats please
@@iamstrange4013 Jesus replied, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6 But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins” - then he said to the paralytic - “Stand up, take your stretcher, and go home.” Matthew 9:6 If you repent and turn from your sins, Jesus will give you eternal life. If you don't, he will give you what you currently want - eternal death. Please choose life!
I need someone to speak to my mom. She is Laotian and has distanced herself from me as soon as I gave my heart to Christ. She will not listen to me and it’s hard for me to minister to her in Laotian because I don’t speak it well.
I am Christian too bro, and Mixed with Thai, but my mom speak Laos too! I don't speak Laos or Thai much aside from knowing some words. I want someone to minister to my mother as well in Lao or Thai language. I do speak to her in English though, I hope you find someone that can minister to your mother in her native language.
May God bless them and keep them all of the days of their lives. I grew up with friends from Laos and dated a couple Laotians. Lao Christian evangelists visited their homes to share the gospel and they were laughed away. Sadly, many countries consider religion and culture as the same thing, there’s not one without the other. But there is one creator God, all things were made through him and he has given us salvation through the cross and the resurrection. He paid for the sin of all, and what people believe in doesn’t change who HE is. The great I am. Alpha and Omega. Begging and End. Sin will be dealt with, the gift of salvation is greater than any cultural ties or earthy pleasures or comfort. It’s eternal. God bless these brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus ✝️
I’m a Laos Buddhist to the core. My family don’t believe in all the Christian and bible stuff. It’s obvious been obvious. But I’ll respect any religion no Matter what.
I commend you for respecting other religions. Out of love, however, I must share with you brilliant news! What is greater than respect is receiving eternal life with our Creator through knowing the Lord Jesus Christ! He is the Savior, Truth, Way, Life, Resurrection, and God in the flesh! May you recieve Him into your spirit, and have joy the world cannot give you! I hope you cross the into this territory of daily life and light. Religions that are not the holy gospel abide on dark territory. It is a matter between eternal Life and eternal death.
Please pray for the Laotian Christians and all Christians being persecuted. It is part of the whole armor of God, praying with all prayer and supplication for the saints, and having done all you may stand in the evil day.
Praise our Lord Jesus Christ... Despite severe Persecution and Hardship nobody can't stop to spread his Gospel... The Gospel of Salvation which is Jesus Christ
EVERY BODY CONTINUES IN IT'S STATE OF REST OF UNIFORM MOTION, UNLES COMPELLED BY AN EXTERNAL FORCE - NEWTON FIRST LAW OF MOTION . Similarly many people in darkness, Under devil spirit , IF ANY EXTERNAL FORCE WILL COME , THEN ONLY THEY CAN COME TO LIGHT . I AM THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD JESUS CHRIST IS ONLY ONE ALMIGHTY LORD FOR WHOLE MANKIND.
Let all who believe they are 'persecuted' watch this ..and be humble. It's our turn soon. (Pray also for Qasim & Amoon Ayub in a Pakistan prison these 8 years).
Bell, since you can't go inside someone's mind to read their thoughts it is your Assumption that they are coming to Laos to take people's money. An unprovable assumption.
If your family do not acknowledge the Creator of the universe but instead believe in reincarnation - then yes it is time to put faith in Christ over family.
The Lao Government accepts and encourages Christianity-!! many churches in Lao-!! The best one is the Lao Evangelical Church (LEC) - Anou Church - 14 Rue Phanompenh, Vientiane, Laos. Get place for fellowship and worship 🙏
Good job Laos. Laos follow true religion Buddhism 🇱🇦☸️. Don't allow Christians (Paganists). Love Laos from Sri Lanka ☸️🇱🇰❤️🇱🇦☸️ All Buddhist countries are always Buddhist. Long live Buddhist countries. ☸️🇱🇰🇲🇲🇹🇭🇰🇭🇱🇦🇧🇹🇲🇳🇯🇵🇸🇬🇹🇼🇲🇴🇭🇰☸️
@Joe Xavier Singapore, Taiwan, Japan are Buddhist majority countries. Are they backward? 😂 But Christian countries are backward. 😂 Who say western world is Christian? 😂 West Europe is Atheist. They developed only after they left Christianity. 😂
@@worlddata8982lmao. Are all Buddhist nations First World to you ?? Must you be a First World or Rich Nations or a Rich person in order to have the right to believe in God ?? Fyi, not all who became Rich are blessed, but some gain Riches by doing evil things & corruption, ie. Drug Lords, Human & S3x Trafficking, Pyramiding Scams, Corrupt Politicians, Thieves, Liars, Traitors, Adulterers, Idolaters, Killers, etc. just to name a few. That’s the difference of Christianity to Buddhism, Buddhism worships this Fallen & cursed World, while Christianity teachess that a Better World is yet to come, and the one who is deserving can gain Eternal Life thru the life & teachings of Jesus Christ, the Savior of mankind and the Light of the World.
@@HAHA-ux4fb yes, I've read your comment properly. But I'm asking you that "how are you sure that she could be khmu, there are lots of other ethnicities too in Laos, but how you only guess her as khmu?" This is my question, I think you haven't read my comments properly
@@chigingshah1824 I mean there is only one way to read your question. How else should I be reading it? It was such a loaded question so 🤷♀️ I understand there are many other tribes in Laos which you should’ve mentioned in your previous comment. Therefore, I was answering it the way I interpreted it.
Buddhism is the true religion only a weak person who don't have confidence in himself and is scared of hell and have greed for afterlife for heaven will fall for a trap and accept the abhramic religion A wise and a smart person who belives in humanity before fear and greed will always accept Buddhism and stay a buddhist
Good to see that Buddhists can and do defend their own culture within their countries. Buddhism is the religion for asians, not Christianity or islam which are both foreign imperialist imports.
You do realise it's illegal to proselytise any religion in Laos? I can't understand why Christians have the need to spread their religion. Leave them be to follow their own traditional religions whether it be Buddhism or Animism. Allow these wonderful people to get on with life without outside interference. You are not the solution but the problem.

Yes. I spoke out of my experience when I was 17 their is group of people I met in uni that invited me to Christmas party events I'm Buddhist I except the invitations but I didn't expect they try to force me to change my region at that moment I stunt and scare how they talked to me I'm sinners if I'm not following them. They keep following me for a month and ask did I read a book or have I make decisions (This was in Laos 2005 in this time they event offer money if i become Christian) I try to avoid this and one of them were a friend after I told them I won't have nothing involved a friend who invited me never see me again. And last year is happened when I was cleaned the front house some strangers just say hello and he ask are you Christian I said I'm Buddhist and what he said " YOU ARE SINNERS " so disrespectful I do respect what their believe and what I have learned in Buddhist culture we never say anything like this to others people what their believe. For me Sinner is what you act Thanks for people who respect ❤ (my story)
