Laos - officially the Lao People's Democratic Republic is a socialist state and the only landlocked country in Southeast Asia. At the heart of the Indochinese Peninsula, Laos is bordered by Myanmar and China to the northwest, Vietnam to the east, Cambodia to the southeast, and Thailand to the west and southwest. Its capital and largest city is Vientiane.
It is one of the most picturesque country I have ever visited. Laos is known for its French Architectures, Mountainous country sides, Blue Lagoons, Caves. Few of its villages are famous among Hikers and Climbers.
Laos offer Visa On Arrival for Indian Passport holders for a period of 30 days.

Note - 3 Major currencies are used in Laos.
1. Lao Kip - Majorly used everywhere
2. US dollars - Only New and Crisp US dollar bills will be accepted. Soiled, damaged, stained and old US dollar bills will not be accepted anywhere in Laos.
