LAPFOX TRAX - ON Trax Vol. 3: RELOAD [full album] 

I must confess. Ive never heard a renard/halley/lapfox/emmaessex track i hated. But this era. was the literal BEST and i cant believe its been 10 years since thos albums that originally perked my ears were released. ITs still good stuff. but its just not as bouncy and fluent as it used to be at least in my opinion. Could also have a lot to do with my age at the time/events happening. but this older lapfox era stuff was the best... And i dont think ill ever get that feeling back. Of hearing queenstons, Eugene or ON TRAX VOL* for the first few times, back in the day... Those tracks made me feel like i could do or be anything. While that illusion has faded for me, the ASMR and dejavu they still call back, and the chills i get when they drop, is undeniable and uncanny. Time pauses. I feel like im back there again just for a split few seconds. Back where? who's to say. Somewhere familiar and full of potential. Maybe nowhere after all...Maybe certain things cant be defined. Maybe we cant escape ourselves all the time...

One of my absolute favorite things about them will always be how they didn't exactly desecrate Wonderwall but in the process of fucking it up, made it beautiful. They did violence to it (cathartic) but also improved it (l'art).
