I’ve been wanting to build a jam peg machine before I built my modern mast machine but after seeing this hybrid a few years back I am definitely tempted to do something like this one but not a clone. Yigal, is the arm up top that extends out for alignment adjustments or could you possibly e-mail me with more details on pricing to N. America please? Thankful

wonder how people find jobs like this, do they go to school for it, do they just apply for it "hi id like to work for you as a gem cutter" like same goes for a mint engraver
Is the white liquid machine coolant or soap or is that just a white stone when ground ? ( would its scratch test be white?like fluorite?) I love the video and am at the point of making something so i can try cutting. A template or jambpeg machine probably, but maybe a hand piece instead of a mast style...i dont care at this point. I need something,any way possible.

Great faceting machine. Are you using some type of special index gear/ dop? It looks like your doing minimal adjustments to switch between facet angels, just flicking and it changes degrees. Looks very useful. Could you please let me know about the above and I'll let you know im interested in a unit :)
Depends on choices made when designing and hopefully you’ll educate yourself well with material grading, pricing and of course never receiving materials. Unfortunately like any other passion or business there’s always something that can happen but definitely a high potential opportunity for the capable and hard work. Good luck

WOW i cant believe how much of a raw gemstone is ground away! like more than half the carets are lost! but conversely, its more than made up for with the rise in value it gains PS peoples comments spelling down below are horrendous, almost as bad as my grammar
