I can understand when I think of Pekora, she also took a long time to get a second outfit and even after receiving several new ones the outfit she wears is almost always her original one
Some just had that perfect design imo. For me its Gura, Korone, Coco, La+, Altare, Kobo and Pekora. Their original outfit just perfectly captures their character.
i agree with pekora's design being too special but aside a lot of people dont know that its not her that didnt want another outfit but she wasnt given one, she even went to the lenght of making the prisoner outfit at the time which she confirmed it was not an official one and it was one she requested because nousagis couldnt wait longer while everyone else even 4th gen were getting new official outfits before her. its an old story and all is good now just wanted to clarify since this was always misunderstood by people who werent regulars

Like even holoID girls are up to date with their new outfits just like holoEN even though their viewers were like 1/3 or even less and still their outfit on par with EN and you can clearly see even when Pekora got a new outfit she still rarely use it
@@gladewings1192 No, he's right, well not most of it. Pekora's new oufit was confirmed a lot earlier behind the scene but they had issues with the designs so it got delayed. By the time it came out, it's already been like 2-3 years since her debut. Cover admitted the oufit delay was their fault and somehow they made up for her.

Okay, no offense to other vtubers, but I'm with Laplus here. Whenever there's a new outfit reveal stream, I usually just watch at the end and I'll be like "Hey cool, new outfit." I don't care about all the teasing. Things like this is why Laplus is one of my HoloJP kamioshi lol
@@senny- seriously, it borderlines silliness. I get that they do it to maybe farm a couple of supas, but with 80+ members, doing it a couple of times per month (hololive as a whole), it lost the novelty a couple of years ago.

I like how she seems to be having fun playing into her lore role, too. Her voice is cute, but also cool and powerful, and it really feels like she's the leader of this HoloX organization. @@senny- She confirmed on her debut stream that she IS Laplace's Demon, but almost all of her powers have been sealed by an unknown force (Theories say that it was Bae and is the reason why she always holds a key, and they technically are polar opposites: Laplus represents order and Bae is the embodiment of chaos) The crow prevents her from taking them off, although she has been able to do so in the past with no repercussions. That makes me think she can't truly regain her strength unless her shackles are destroyed, which makes a lot more sense if you ask me.

Bae's entropy powers is a direct counter to her. And I think Laplus beats the entire HoloCouncil except Bae since stuff like Time and Space hold nothing against the manifestation of causal determinism.

Man, I miss Laplus Darkness. I hope she posts more to RU-vid. I know she's on Twitch, but I'm not a big fan of Twitch. Anyway, lovely new outfit. Laplus continues to be the cutest Kusogaki.
She was on a medical break for most of January and all of the archives are deleted after 2 weeks. Luckily, Laplus has found a way to save her VODs by converting them into ''highlights'', which preserves them from being deleted. So far, only her Palworld stream has been personally saved by Laplus herself, although fans have archived all of her streams elsewhere prior to this.
I respect that she is trying new things on Twitch, but I can't help but feel like it is not working out and she really should just come back to the YT where it is the Hololive stronghold. Twitch is definitely more of an EN thing, IMO.
In the gaki's defense, her default outfit here is really good. Even if you discount the huge-ahh horns, her appearance is VERY unique among Hololive's whole roster. Nobody uses a coat as heavy as hers.
Every time I see a vtuber go from long to short hair... my heart breaks into tiniest of pieces T-T I hope she'll still continue to use the old outfit alongside the new one.
Weirdly enough I share that sentiment. I really like this new outfit, especially the jacket with ANIMATED flames, but her original design is way too iconic and she will definitely keep using it regardless. I think her hair being so long actually really fits her childish chuuni personality as well as being a way to show off her commanding and overconfident presence as an all-powerful galactic conqueror.
Finally someone I can relate to. I fuckin hate bobcuts... Would look infinitely better if it was slightly longer. Also sad her mini braid is gone for a mid himecut...
I hope she gets a better income stream again...I'm not really a follower of hers, or a 'fan' (I like her tho), but it seems that many fans seems to have predicted this with twitch and the shorts.
She is really streaming a lot more nowadays! Since she moved to Twitch I always catch her streams and they are always fun, especially the collabs with the VSPO girls
I like to think she can't have access to her full power unless the seals are physically destroyed. She has taken them off in the past with no consequences.

This is why I'm hoping she tries multi-streaming soon. At the very least she has finally found a way to archive her Twitch VODs, something which I'm infinitely thankful for.
Almost certainly due in some part to a sizable chunk of both her fanbase and then general Holo fanbase being primarily on RU-vid, plus she's going to have less people join her YT membership or whatnot if she's not streaming on YT.
@@k-CapoXXIV IIRC, Aki tried multi-streaming too while playing LoL (She had her screen wrongly scaled on YT while her Live2D is wrongly scaled on Twitch).
I cannot even comprehend why she has decided to move to twitch, it has to be right up there with one of the dumbest decisions any holomember has ever made that hasnt led to a termination.
I mean, if she had stayed on YT, she would have got a lot more donation money, to be honest. Twitch is very much unknown amongst the Japanese compared to YT and there are many users who will just not use Twitch because they don't like how it works, but are ok superchatting on YT. I don't know why she was told that the algorithm would penalize her if she put out videos and streams on YT and that she should only use it for shorts and compilations... the idea itself is laughable. Proof? Every single other HL member of HL is streaming on YT mainly and it's going more than well enough for them. No one is complaining their earnings have been cut in half. I really hope she'll realize she needs to come back to YT and ditch twitch. For twitch, unless you designate the whole video as a clip, it won't be stored permanently, so everything she's doing, it's all gone. Not good for the future if all your body of work lasts for 2 months tops.
Good news! She has finally learned to highlight her streams and her Palworld stream is the first one to be archived by her. But yeah, I wish she returned to RU-vid although I can understand why she wouldn't want to just yet due to past trauma. She's slowly regaining confidence however, and has been streaming a couple of times here again (mostly promotional though). Not to mention, her RU-vid channel hasn't stopped growing one bit despite this change. So I have faith she will, at least, try multistreaming in order to gain more money. I'm sure once she decides to return to RU-vid once again everyone will embrace her with open arms and show how beloved she truly is by literally millions of people. Of course, she would stream on Twitch still as she has always done, and it's clear she's much happier there since making that change. Things are finally improving for Laplus after a very long time, but there still a few steps to take in order to finally become as great as she used to be before her hiatus caused by burnout and the antis' harassment.
I'm confident she will go back to mostly use her original outfit after a while, it's way too iconic and she really loves it. I like the new one sure, but her base design may as well be my all-time favorite in hololive.
