2017 model is bit old. It might have lots of issues and many new softwares may not support that older version. go for second one.

We had our internship online so didn't get any accomodation. As per the rule you will also get 7 days accomodation during internship.

Learn java in your first sem. Then start exploring DSA from second semester. After learning java, explore competitive programming first on codechef and codeforces.

Yes it will be ok. You will get personal computer in lab, that you can use for extra work if needed.

There is no SDE 2 in HfT firms Only one role. Based on experience one get higher bonus part

@Rohit yes they are. But there is no SDE 2 kind of things in HFTs. If you are trader, you will be trader in future as well. There is no Trader 2 or senior trader.

But bhaiya I love maths...and Iit bombay me sapna hai.cse to lgta nahi milega waha.....and quant roles k lie maths and coding is important so why do you think ee better?? Like kya it is due to placements? Kya interviewer will prefer ee graduate over bs in maths graduate ?
