What a talent this Lara Fabian is, she is wonderful in all styles of music. She is definitely one of the greatest singers of her time. A little secret, I love her dearly.
This song is taken from the opera La Traviata by Verdi , based on the novel by Alexandre Dumas' son, The Lady of the Camellias and its theatrical adaptation..It is perhaps a tribute to the greatest singer Maria Callas. Beautiful song .I get goosebumps just listening to Lara's version.

This is her first native language. She was born in Brussels area but then the she has been raised in Sicilia the first 7 years of her life, within her mother’s family. She is back there and, since end of 2022, has been living in Catane area, with her sicilian husband. Late 2025, she will open a vocal school in Italy.
