One of the best vocal performances by a female singer ever. When you think that Adagio by Dimash is considered one of the best male performances ever and realise he is covering Lara's original song, you understand the depth of her talents. I've never seen you both so entranced by a performer from the opening phrase, no need to discuss, just wipe the tears away. I still cry after watching this 1000's of times. I'm so happy I've discovered artists that not only have the vocal skills and musicality but also brings the emotions like Lara, Dimash, HuaHua. Learning to know artiasts like those make many other great singers fade in comparison, not because they are bad but because they don't touch you in the same way.

I was awaiting another reaction to Lara after Caruso. I saw you finished speechless again at the end of this masterpiece 😀. There are other stunning performances from the same concert where she shows more of her vocal range and skills ( You are not from here, Adagio, Broken Vow), and so many more from other concerts, but she always uses the vocal technic to serve the emotion and connect you to it. Every color and variation has an intent and is tied to the story of the song. I just subscribed and hope to see more of your reactions to her in the future.
Arguably, this is the greatest single live performance in musical history. It is from the greatest live concert , "From Lara With Love", ever recorded. I saw her live 20 years later and she still is the greatest interpreter/storyteller ever. But I don't want to hype her up too much.

I am curious where you got the information that she is a light lyric? It's been my understanding her fach was full lyric, not that fachs are important in pop music. The power and ability to cut through accompaniment would also indicate Full and not Light. Happy to be proved wrong, though.
