I have seen her front row several times and even watched her in rehearsals.... her voice literally makes your spirit leave your body and it is just an out of body experience and you tear up with that deep emotional connection of her determination of character in her song
She is called "THE RING" for her different resonance. It's not like the others's one. When she belts, a powerful sound frequency is launched straight out making a "ring resonance" in our head. That's why we hear it so different like it is twisting into our brain and ears, and the fact that nobody can make the same RING like her
I was looking for this in the comments. Glad you pointed it out already, or I would have. It's from the 2003 "En toute intimité" concert. I get goosebumps just THINKING about that performance. And even I've seen it probably dozens of times, there's this weird watery substance leaking from my eyes whenever I watch it again. :)
Her upper belts after 2000s reminds me so much of celine's upper mixed belts. It looks like both have similar techniques but offcourse Lara has mastered mixing.
Lara is very underrated especially from the trio vocalist.... And think she apperatly has keep the best health and power from the trinity :) maybe I am wrong and whatever they all are incrediable. And from a French people she has Been through a really bad accident when she was reseal in her ear at the point she didn t know if she will be ever able to sing. We know that from a French TV show she did.... Tpmp Lara Fabian if you want to see it :)
There is no other like Lara, like there is no other like Dimash! In fact, he respects her and has been inspired through the years by her. Dimash has recently sung 3 of her hits and I wouldn't be surprised if he does more!
I love watching your reactions to Lara because you get as excited as I do listening to that vocal perfection. So many others either don't understand what is actually happening or just aren't as impressed because it isn't Beyonce.
Again, great reaction. Great knowledge from a singer. Regarding Lara’s voice: in a documentary she has mentioned that like an olimpic athlete, she needs to do vocal training and vocal exercises to maintain her strengt and ability. She trains for 2 hrs every day, no matter if she has shows or is not performing.
I love your reactions. Your knowledge and how you take time to listen and analyze. You are awesome man! Lara gives me chill everyday. I listen to her everyday. I love her😭😭😭😭
She's fabulous, I love her voice...such a effortless belter! No wobble. Reminds me of Linda Eder. Please do a review of Linda doing my favorite, Man of La Mancha.
She is my absolute favorite artist not just for her excellent technique but also because she puts a lot of emotion into her songs. One of her best performances was Je t'aime in Royal Albert Hall in 2011. Here is a link, it is well worth listening to ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-uBK27MbfKgE.html
I think her early 2000s are the best balance between ease and weight of the voice. Like Whitney in 1994, her voice was getting heavier but she was still able to hit everything. With Lara it's the same I think, and the age was also similar
I love this compilation video! 7:12 is one I have asked for before that I know you will love! Dites-moi Pourquoi Je L'aime (Tell Me Why I Love Him) from Bruxelles '98. It's one of my all time faves! It's one of her insane chair performances, like Tango from her Nue concert. You have to do one of those next, pleeeease 😁.
@@mariaferreris872 Lucky! I wish I could go see her. I only discovered her a little over a year ago but it would be a bucket list event. If I didn't have a busted back I would totally make a trip to see her in California.
@@clyn4ever217 I agree with you 100%. I would love his reaction to this. I don't need really to tell you, it is one of her best performances. For me, it is emotion-packed, elegant, other-worldly, grandiose...( add superlatives)!
Where you paused the video at 6.19 where Lara was wearing winter gear, including a winter jacket, scarf, and beanie while singing Adajio, she did not just sing that song in very cold conditions, that entire concert was performed in an ice skating rink in Russia during winter time, that's why she was all bundled up. Quite incredible considering how amazing she sounded. There's a video on RU-vid from parts of that European tour, where members of her entourage talk behind the scenes about the prep and rehearsals they were doing at the ice skating rink before the performance.
The whole concert can be seen on RU-vid. Concert in Isvesk. A superb concert with Lara at hes best, and vey good natured considering the cock-ups in organisation.
Wouaouh true react thanks... please react to Lara Fabian - vivement dimanche 1999 - Que tu m'aimes live in this tv show specially... she is very .... no words...
I believe the man who cracked at the C5 register doing the duet with Lara was Serge Lama, the creator of that song, Je Suis Malade. You can check youtube for a sweet video of him taking another of his songs that she made her own, Je T'aime, and rewriting the lyrics in a very personal tribute to Lara.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE !!! Could you react to her best duets : - Lara Fabian & Johnny Hallyday - Requiem Pour Un Fou (Enfoires en coeur - 1998).wmv - LARA FABIAN & MICHAEL BOLTON - The Prayer @ Hit Man Returns - David Foster & Friends 15.10.2010 - Lara Fabian - Tu es mon autre Live
yes but I find that the mixed voice is often less impressive .... when the chnator sings with a lot of chest voice, it is more percussive and strong. more natural .. after that depends on the style of the song .. here yes it would have I think also needed a mixing
@@dededejereme2284 I completely do get what you mean ! That’s why singers like Jennifer Hudson are impressive because her belts are chesty and it’s more impressive
when you are "wait a minute, that man just cracked..." i'm like it's Serge Lama, the original singer of the song "Je suis Malade". Now yeah lara covers of his song are freaking impressive but the guy sang that song first in 1973.
Hi JustTheVoice, can you react to 'WHAT MORE CAN I GIVE' by Michael Jackson because in that song you can see Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Usher, Justin Timberlake and more. Please react to it.
