HIYA! Here's a live performance of the song "fiançalles" (JP: フィアンサーユ) by Japanese visual-kei rock band LAREINE (JP: ラレーヌ). This was performed during the SHOCK WAVE ILLUSION 1999 event, where a lot of artists/bands each performed a few songs.

This is considered by many to be one of their greatest songs, and I'd say that I must agree. It was also their biggest hit in Japan, giving them a short period of nationwide fame.
To me, the 20-minute, 3-song setlist that LAREINE did on that day is perfect in every way.... Such amazing music, performances, energy on stage, and beautiful outfits.
This live performane, SHOCK WAVE ILLUSION 1999 is very close to being lost media. It was never put on any home VHS or DVD, and was never officially uploaded. And maybe, it was never even broadcasted again after the original TV broadcast.
It did surface on the web in the early 2000s, and has been shared around since then, but the quality of that video file is extremely terrible.
How did I obtain this footage in such good quality? A few months ago, I found a Japanese LAREINE fan who owns a (homemade) VHS tape containing this TV recording, and they were kind enough to lend it to me just to get it ripped. My friends at RarezHut ripped it with their amazing setup. They're a US-based visual-kei store! magento.rarezh...
I also remastered and upscaled this brand-new rip using AI software.
Why did I not upload this earlier?
The album where this song is on, フィエルテの海と共に消ゆ～THE LAST OF ROMANCE～, got put on Spotify a little over a year ago. So every RU-vid video containing any song from that magnificent album gets blocked worldwide except for Japan. But sadly, the Spotify upload is limited to Japan-only too, making it impossible to legally listen that album for people outside of Japan. And since the RU-vid videos with these songs are blocked, it's very hard to listen to LAREINE without finding downloads on-line. So both legally and illegaly, LAREINE music is hard to find. And second-hand CD's of LAREINE are all super expensive, and even the most common ones aren't super cheap.
I thought that this live version would be auto-blocked too, just as any other upload of fiançailles, but this live version is different enough from the studio version so that the system doesn't automatically recognise it! So enjoy being able to listen to this song on RU-vid again!!!
I also uploaded Métamorphose of this performance! Métamorphose isn't on the album I mentioned before, so didn't get blocked! The reason why I cannot upload the full SHOCK WAVE 1999 performance is because of émeraude～海に魅せられて～, the first song of the setlist, which is too close to the studio version so makes everything get blocked.
