He is one of the best, very underrated! He looks great for his age.. This is how we all should age. Lol Get it Right, Get it Tight! I'm doing the same.
You can see when someone hasn't sold their soul. Larenz is definitely underrated but at least he is not this fame addicted, money obsessed illuminati puppet. He has always remained humble and genuine which is why he probably looks so young and which is why he is one of the few actors left that I still respect.
These 90's actors live CLEAN lives, no heavy drugs or no drugs at all, no drinking, clean eating, positive mindset, social circle that understands their lifestyles. That's the only way they look so young and alive after all of these years.
This man is so dam fine still looking like a little boy just gorgeous with them lips his wife is so dam I wish you was living on the west side of Chicago and I ran in to him when we both live there together now talking about chi town finest he is it my love yessss may God continue the bless your face and heart❤❤❤❤❤❤❤👄👄👄👄👄
Larenz Tate is the epitome of Hollywood class and sophistication...Just a true gentleman. One of the most underrated actors in the business!! - Great interview!
Yes! Learning to save for rainy days because they'll surely come. Plus you just stay true to yourself and learn to invest in a saving accounts. Living lavishly has high costs.
***** You're right! It's hard to save but we have to try to get in the mindset to save a certain percentage from each paycheck or earning even if it is $5. It will grow. I'm trying to be more minimalist. There is a loss to living beyond the means.
lord i'm so glad he brought up that today's black movies are not versatile enough as it were in the 90's, that was the last decade of golden black movies
AlpoPaid yooooo....do you remember when they were on their way to the nude beach & they were talking about all the (.)(.)'s they were gonna see....then they started singing that silly song....."bitties & titties & titties AND TITTIES! bitties & titties & titties AND TITTIES!🤣🤣🤣🤣
The 90s was the Golden Era for Black Cinema....Here is proof: Friday, Boyz in the Hood, Poetic Justice, juice, Menace to Society, Set It Off, the wood, the best man, Above the Rim, waiting to exhale, Harlem Nights, Coming to America, Inkwell, The Bodyguard, boomerang, Malcolm X, What's Love Got to Do with It, house party, soul food, bad boys, life, Love Jones, Jason's Lyric, New Jack City, Higher Learning, Dead Presidents, Sister Act, belly, A Low Down Dirty Shame, Eve' s Bayou, He Got Game, White Men Can't Jump, Blue Streak, booty call, In Too Deep, Mo Money, Rosewood, the preacher's wife, Cool Runnings, Doctor Dolittle, baps, A Thin Line Between Love and Hate, baby boy, Major Payne, Jungle Fever, The Hurricane, Amistad, get on the bus, sprung, The Nutty Professor, The Players Club, How Stella Got Her Groove Back, Enemy of the State. I could keep going. But This doesn't even include late 80s (maybe two of em) and early 00s movies we all know and love
Man, that introduction by Charlemagne was warranted. Because Larenz, that brother been entertaining our culture since the late 1980s. As an 11-year back in 1993, he scared the hell out of me as O-Dog in Menace II Society when my mom took me to see that movie at the theater. Larenz is a FUCKING legend.
I will always remember the first time I laid my eyes on him in How Do Fools Fall In Love, I fell in love with him INSTANTLY. He's always been so sweet, funny AND humble. This man has shown SO much growth throughout the years and he still looks AMAZING❤️🙈 #ThankYouMrTate #SoUnderrated
I remember Larenz in that episode of the fresh prince when Ashley went to the same school as Carlton & Will and she was dressing all sexy and Larenz tried to holla at her but when he saw a hotter chick he dipped 😂😂😂😂
I've known about Larenz since 1993 when my mom took me to see Menace as an 11-year old. That brother is smart, wise, and see's the big picture in life and in showbiz. I wish him more success.
Larenz has ALWAYS been one of my favorites... From Menace to Society, Dead Presidents, Love Jones and Why Do Fools....Very underrated but can act his ass off. And he fine💜😍.lol
That was a good interview, I could listen to Larenz's conversation all day. I hate to use the term "well spoken" but he is . He's fine, he practices healthy habits, and he can hold a conversation that makes sense?! What a lucky family... Best wishes.
This is such a handsome, talented and humble man. He has truly kept up with himself and it would be great to see him in movies again. Love Jones, is one of my favorite classics.
I would love to see a dead president sequel. That movie is so underrated. The soundtrack was a masterpiece. The theme the emotion everything was so real and believable. I wish they made more movies like it.
I agree...Never will forget the last scene when he was being hauled off on the bus to prison shedding a tear while the background music was "Walk On By"....
Black people, if most of us can just lay off the grease and liquor, this is usually the result. Healthy Blackness is Ageless, our physic was designed to blend with nature, thats why we're the only race that isn't easily harmed by the sunlight and whatever race we mix with, our Blackness is always the dominant feature.
The industry needs to be blowing up his phone. This dude is a very good actor. He's got range for real. Hope to see him on the big screen soon. Good luck sir.
It's not just the fact that Larenz is SWEET UP, it's the way he carries himself. He's smart and humble, witty and confident, and knows how to stay relevant and productive without being extra and lame. I love him and I loved this interview. FAN. FOR. LIFE.
Ya'll aint never lie. I remember being little watching him.. And he looks the same! Whatever he is doing, if its his diet or whatever I want it!! Also he is one of the most underrated actors ever..
He hit the nail right on the head...just because you can get into the house doesn't mean you can maintain it..these rappers and ball players out here buying $2million dollar homes....that maintenance is no joke.
L. Tate is speaking the truth about the liabilities of a house. R.T. Kiyosaki spoke about it in, "Rich Dad, Poor Dad." A house is a big liability, and a lot of people don't realize that.
So damn good to see this brother. Dick Gregory, now Larenz Tate! Breakfast club, I'm proud of you for bringing great people to have on your show. Great for the black culture and community. Keep up the great work!
Love Jones is my favorite movie. It doesn't need a sequel. The whole vibe of love jones can't be recreated especially with the way the world has changed. Some things should just be left alone. However Larenz and Nia should maybe do something else.
@@godzbody2432 he was 17 in menace and 21 in love jones/but they usely film movies a year before they come out so while filming menace he was 16 and 20 was filming love jones
+Michael Ryan Oh yeah. Larenz was damn good on that short lived show. I wished they would have talked about that show and Maia Campbell's off the set trials and tribulations and if he still talks to her.
He came from a two parent household, his father. Was an important role model in his life Taught him he didn't need fame to be Larenz Tate It all shows he have family values I bet he have a spiritual life, God base He has direction That's, that good clean living. Some of you viewer should try it.
Talk To EM LORENZ!!!!!! About Financial and Hollywood. Hes such a Class Act, so diverse, so intelligent so articulate and smart. He broke everything down. They so stuck on his past. I like how he maintained himself, couldve played a Bunch of O Dogs but he kept Growing.Sometime your audience just wont grow with you, but I feel he and ppl like Nia Long never forced it.
+TJ STEELER I just find it gunny that he is always quite, and when he says something to an actor is always that question like he must be thinking "let me get my question in"
