Just purchased mine, in Australia it is called magivaac laser 360 Robot Vacuum & Mop, with auto disposal station. Looks exactly the same, so your video is a lifesaver. Used it for 2 days now and am used to the functions, I love it. Thanks so much for your hard work and great tutorial.
Thank you for actually showing us how the robot works and all its features, instead of just rambling on like most RU-vid videos. If you can please explain in more details about zoning areas so the robot does not get stuck under a piece of furniture. Thank you again!
I am not sure about a “zoning area” but if you are referring to adding a area or a wall that the vacuum will not go … on the map click on “area” and here you can select a squeak shape to keep it out of a square area OR click on “wall” at the top and you can draw a line. I drew a line so it does not go by my dogs water bowl or under our tv. When I put the Xmas tree up, I make a square area so it will not go near the tree as well. I hope this help answer your question

Got this exact model today. I just gave it a quick run through parts of the flat, mostly to see it in action. I´ll set it up properly these days, so far it´s fairly clever in maneuvering. The only thing it really doesn´t like is cables :D Oh well it will force me to keep the floor free, not too bad either.

Wow even the clean up of the vacuum is smart with that blade for removing hair! I have thick hair that’s almost to my butt and I shed almost as much as my dog lol!
Awesome Video, just one question I can’t find anywhere not even on the manual? Where and how do you setup the rooms? I noticed yours is colored coded and it has formed not just in boxes? I tried the are box, but that give you the same color and square maps only. Does it automatically give you the rooms and then you change the rooms? I just can’t figure this out, please help? Thanks.
Ok so I would recommend deleting you current map, pick everything up and let it do the first scan. Once it’s done, you then should be able to go to “partition editing” on the bottom right … there you can name the rooms, divid or merge the rooms 👍🏻
Honestly I do not know the answer on how to make two maps for two levels, I know I remember reading something about having multiple levels but I could not figure it out playing with my map … maybe email customer support as they should be able to help quickly 👍🏻

I have found the answer. When You have saved the first map you have to bring up the robot to the second floor. Than go to manuell Mode and just start it. He scans now the second floor and makes a second map. After that don't forget to save this new map. If both maps saved we can just bring the robot where he has to do his job but we have to select the right saved map for this floor. It works

Excelent video. You covered everything in great detail. Well done. Purchased the L6 Pro couple of days ago. It does not self empty. Is something not set properly? I cannot use the app because I have 5G service and this only works on 2.4.
Honestly I only use the app and when it’s done, it goes back to the base and a few seconds later it empties and then charges. I do believe there is a setting in the app (yes I know you can’t use the app with your internet currently) that you can tell it to auto empty after every clean, after so many cleans or not at all so I would not know how to change the setting without the app. Maybe contact customer service and see if there is a way to do it from the device itself or you might have to take it to a friend or family to set it up to get the setting to auto empty every time and then try again using it manually. I hope you get it figured out as it is sooooo convenient for the auto empty feature 👍
I keep a small bagged vacuum in my laundry room for just the laundry room... like sucking the dryer lint off the screen and vacuuming around the laundry room after doing laundry. I used to have a bagless vac and I hated emptying it with dust flying...so I would take it to the laundry room and use the vacuum crevice tool and suck the vacuum bin clean and also the filters...this way I had no dust flying everywhere and it took forever to fill the vacuum bag...it seems like this is doing sort of the same thing I was doing but on it's own... cool!
I only have a one story floor myself so I have never used that feature… I do believe one answered on a comment that once it does the first floor, take it to the second floor before saving it … something to that effect. You can always email their customer support and they should be able to answer this quickly for you
Thanks for the excellent review. Does anyone know how to connect this robot vacuum to Alexa or Google Assistant? The info found in the app seems to be wrong. It says once in the Alexa app, to search for Alexa in the skills & similar in Google Home.
I do not have Alexa so I have not tried to pair them but I do see if you click the pencil icon on the top left of the app on the home screen where you see the map, and there you can see Alexa and Google assistant ... can you click on that to connect Alexa?
I know you've only had it a month, but how often have you had to clean the brush? Because of your video, I'm considering this unit.. that and it's cheaper than the Roborock. Of course I'll also have to investigate maintenance costs on the replacement items.
I actually just cleaned the brush roll for the first time since the video today and honestly it was not that bad. I have had this one a few months now and I absolutely love it and I use it all the time, especially to do one or more rooms. Like tonight after cooking I had it go to the kitchen only while I was doing the dishes 👍🏻
I’m sorry but I do not understand your question … are you trying to combine two rooms together to make one? Or are you not seeing different rooms once you had it do the first scan? Please give me more info as I would like to help you if I can. Thanks
@@SheCrafty When I open the app, I cannot find anyway to find the color rooms that you have on your display. Rather, when I add a room in Auto mode, the new room acts as a barrier where the L6 Pro won't go. I can add a zone then then do a Pin n Go and the L6 will go to the section and clean. How did you setup the rooms so I don't have to recsreate zones? Thank
@@bigben40245 Did you do the first scan and let it go threw your whole house and set up the map? So if I am understanding, your map is all one color for each room? If that is the case, from the home screen click on "partition editing" on the bottom you can :merge rooms" OR "Divide room". Once there you select the area to split. Also, next to it is "area naming" that is where you can change the name for that room.
I bought two L6 Pros and received them today. I've got them set up and the seem to be working beautifully. However, I have some questions: Is there a manual or videos demonstrating how the app works? How to create an area in a zone and save that area so you don't have to create the area every time you want that area of a zone cleaned? When I mapped it for the first time, I did not do all the rooms and would now like to add a room. Do I have to start the mapping all over? Is it best to remove the mop pad and empty the water after each mop session? Or can it just be left on? And can water be left in the tank if the mop pad is not on? Where might I find these answers??
Please let me know if you find out. Just got one and my whole apartment is just listed as "one room", not sure how to get it to be divided into the rooms. :(
You never went over the white pads and when they should be used or not? There’s 6 of them and they are disposable, are they for mopping? I thought that reusable cloth was for mopping? Do the white pads go over the cloth or each is used for a different thing?
Go to your app, once you see the map screen, click on “more” on the bottom left and then click “voice and volume” and there you can select the language 👍🏻
Did you have it do a scan on the entire house first? Once you do the first scan, and you are on the main page on the app, where you see the map, click on “partition editing” and that’s where you can merge rooms, decide rooms, rename rooms.
I did the whole house yes. When I click on partition editing it says “the are no rooms on the map try again later”. I’m so confused. 67 and swimming uphill.

Ok, I had another ask me with that same message … go to the “more” that has the three dots in the bottom right corner, click “change map” and “reset homepage”. That will delete the current map. Have it do the first scan again … pick up everything and let it scan the entire area. Once it’s done, go to the “partition edit” and it should let you do it. 🤞🏻
It was great, but I need to know how can say to she to go for map 1 or other map again? I need to have 2 different maps, main floor and second floor, for example when I use it in second floor, I don’t know how may I use it again for first map(main floor). Bc she is trying to scan the area again like first time😖😖

@@SheCrafty I’ve reset the device. I’ll let it re-map the house, maybe the issue is that the first time it didn’t go through the whole cycle of mapping/cleaning. I’ll let it run through the night and pray that let’s me add the rooms
Okay I'm sold but I still have a question. So when I set up my floors for a mapping. I will try to pick up the Ottomans something I know food falls below I would pick it up off the floor put it on the couch. But if they're happened to be one quick clean and I didn't move the ottoman wouldn't know enough to go around it or would it be that I have to pick up the ottoman every time? Also how does this do with animal toys I saw you had a dog in your video.
Does the vacuum run for 250 mins? Or just 60 mins? I just got mine 2 days ago and the running time is only for 60 mins! I paid for more than 500 dollars because it says 250 mins battery life!!!
I am not sure as I do not have internet 5.0 so I do not have experience with this. I would suggest contacting customer support and hopefully they will be able to assist you with this. 🤞🏻
I'm almost at the decision point, but I have a couple more questions. #1 How does it do with pine needles? I live in the country and pine needles drive me nuts. If this device can pick them up, especially wet ones, it'll go to the top of my list. #2, The iRobot device tout their Wifi security, would you know anything about this one? This thing is made in China and after seeing your APP setup portion of the video, I wonder if I'd be opening up my home network.

It get a notification for your first message but I just found it and answered your question. RU-vid is not good at sending me notifications for every message I receive so unfortunately some get missed so I am glad you sent another message I was able to see.
It is hard to say, this vacuum has improved technology and it does show in performance. I have tested out a few different styles and brands and this one by far works the best in my opinion. Plus they have great sales from time to time to save more $$.
Depth clean means clean path like a #, when you turn on depth clean, the machine will clean twice but with a different pathway. Hope this will help you😊
Just got the laresar l6, terrible instructions and my first robot ever. How is the initial mapping done?? I dont see a mapping run mode in the laresar smart app...😒
Pick everything up that could be in the vacuums way and do the first run, it will scan the entire house and then will create the map. So basically it’s the first time using the machine
