I always love seeing your meals. It is very inspiring. Sometimes I get stuck in a rut with dinners and I love getting new ideas.

your supper videos always makes my life of in the middle school big and littles stage (13,11,9,7 are our ages of kids) seem doable!

How do you use the frozen cauliflower to make the mashed cauliflower? I always shy away from cauliflower mash because of needing to bake the cauliflower heads first.

Looks very yummy! I always bring a main dish to a potluck as well and we are only a family of five!

I know you’ve shared your tamale pie recipe. I just doubled it. Have you done that, and frozen one? Do you freeze it with the topping all pre-baked, and then just reheat in oven when ready to use?

I have that dump cake recipe too! It’s from the back of a cake mix box 🤣 I’ve had it for years and haven’t tried it. Definitely trying it this weekend! How long does homemade pizza night take? I always feel like I’m in the kitchen for hours on pizza night

Lol! Well it’s so good. I had no idea where it came from 🤣 when I make my own dough I make it in my bread machine so it only takes me a few mins plus assembly.

I find it surprising that out of five kids you don’t have a picky one that won’t eat anything you make. Out of four kids I have two! I don’t think they would’ve eaten a single thing you made in any of those clips. 😭

Oh no!! Lol. I’m sure that can make dinner time tough! I had one who went through a fairly picky stage around preschool age.

This is exactly why I love your videos. It is encouraging me to keep giving them new food to try. I always feel very good and inspired after watching your meal videos. I even plan breakfasts now and the kids love looking and the menu. So much less stress in the morning. Thank you!

Do you still have a celiac family member? I thought you mentioned your dad being GF but it may have been someone else.

Yes, my father-in-law! Not my dad.

@@RootedinRest I have celiacs and it's so hard to find things I can eat that the whole family will enjoy. Do you have any picky kiddos? I love everything you made by my four are all 8 and under and they wouldn't even try most of that. I'm trying to branch out into more meals like this and just offer a safe food at every dinner like bread, biscuits or tortilla chips.

Yes! We had one who was incredibly picky and we tried an idea I saw from Veggies and Virtue called “Like it, Love it, Learning it”. It helped so much!
