I feel thissss. It happens to me too! But only when there's like a ton of excess clutter on the desk. If I just have the computer and only add minimal clutter and put it where it's supposed to clip to (like without move objects), then I never have that problem! Because making them actually have to sit down first is a pain 🙄

Sorry I'm a little late, I had the same problem, but the cause was, there was a object in my desk, which I placed with move objects, and it was diagonal placed. As soon as I deleted it, everything was fine.

I typically can't sit and watch speed builds all the way through because I have the attention span of a 5 year old... but I was completely enraptured by this build-the color scheme, the style, everything about this build was indescribably lovely to watch. Amazing job!

One of my favorite builds I've seen. Just enough clutter to feel super lived in without being overwhelming. Super pretty interior design. Wish I had the packs; I would download it immediately!

bb.moveobjects on then press the Alt key! (Can’t remember if it’s just sims 3 camera or if it’s possible in sims 4 camera too so I would try out sims 3!)

Good quick tip for adding live edit foliage in the form of fencing! Use the small stone or black iron fencing right under where that foliage is, so sims actually register it as an impassable wall. Usually they'll walk through Live Edit items, having a real game one under it helps them track paths through correct gate holes.

27:38 Happens to me as well, when I click on the computer they won't use it so I have to click on the chair first for them to sit down and then the computer

This is stunning! But had to comment because of the throwback to the clay/future cube bug. It literally made me stop playing The Sims 4 because it took them so long to fix as well as the other bugs they had going at the same time that made it unplayable D: But I can play vicariously through your build vids :)

Oh yeah same!! Was so difficult to play a rags to riches when that bug was in the game 😅 I think it’s been updated, I personally don’t have that bug in my game anymore but not 100% sure for other people!

It’s the red shelf! It’s so useful, it lets me move objects to whatever height I want without them floating, it’s linked in the description 🥰🤍

This is amazing! I don't know where to start... The laundry room is amazing, loving the basketball thingy over the bed and the whole study/gaming area (where the computer is in that room), clutter in the bathroom... There is just to much to mention lol New sub here!

Love the house! I have the same problem with computers. It really annoys me because my sim is tech-guru and she doesn’t do her work. Also my sims just CANT write books. They can only practice their writing skills. I have to idea why this happens 😐

This build is beautiful! 😍 I'm glad I found ypur channel. I also have the computer bug, the cause is the clutters on the desk and also moveobjects. If you place the desk and the computer without moveobjects, the sims will use it without sittin down first. I think it's kind of a routing issue.

This is a lovely build. Can I just ask what is the red cube you use to help you place objects? How do you use it? I always find when using objects and trying to place them freely I always place them too high and struggle to place them. Is there an easier way to do this? X

It’s allows you to move object to a certain height, as long as it’s not placed in the build when uploading to the gallery it won’t be classed as CC, it’s so useful I use it in every build! It’s linked in my description 🥰🤍

so many items in this game are very childish or way too themed to really fit into anything calmer. Seasons has a lot of leaf things that make the items less fun for all-around use outside of a specific fall house for example. Anything with logos or prints needs to have a neutral design to them so they have a wider range of usability. Also, gorgeous build and I love the graphics!

Like where you place it, move the counter or table, move the item, then move the counter or table back

I have move objects on at all times, which then lets me place the item on the counter or table then take that counter/table away and let it float in the air and get the placement for it how I want it!

very beautiful build :D in my case for some reason, my build always ends up a classic suburban house with modern interior... i just can't get the feel on how a type of house looks like without looking at it directly in real life. I just can't get it into my head just from pictures or videos... so my build style is limited to what my house looks like.

Amazing build! Love this house, I want to live there lol! I have the issue where you have to make the sims sit at the table or desk to use the computer, but only in some builds. It is a bit annoying though, not gonna lie.
