Large Family Shopping February 

Have you used all the turkeys from the after holiday sale? I’ve saved a lot of money over the years by not buying sauces. I had to smile when you said a handful of kids along! For most people a handful is a lot. You make it look so easy. Great shopping. You do so well buying and cooking healthy. I do all my shopping on-line now, but I know that’s probably not an option for you living so far away from the city. But you could maybe do an online pickup if you know you’re going to the city. You’d save a lot of time and could get on the roads faster. Online shopping was a huge game changer for me. My daughter is allergic to soy so I have to read all the labels and have gotten familiar with allowable foods. You, go girl, and buy what is right for your family. We do not live in a perfect world and sometimes we have to do what we have to do or want to do. And sometimes we need to treat ourselves and our family. Safe travels. Winter driving is not easy.

My husband is also diabetic, I used the low carb wraps and made enchiladas , he loved them and he didn’t spike, just an idea 😊

Can you film cutting the chicken..it's a great skill for saving money..I personally am terrible at it.

I am grain free - so gluten free and low carb. I also follow 2krazyketos and a bunch of other keto channels who have simple recipes that don’t require any grains at all. I also love ketochow - it is expensive but it is versatile in how many recipes you can make with it. Keto chow waffles are the bomb - idk if it will work with a different type of protein powder - it seems like your daughter eats more carbs than me so maybe that would work for her.

In Australia there are stores that are just self checkout. Also some are cashless.

Walmart here where I live cuts you off from checking out on self check and if a person is checking you out at $700. They also stop once you reach a certain amount of items even if it’s under the $700. It’s super frustrating. But my guess is one of those reasons you had to do 3 separate checkouts.

I do not like self checkout which is one of the reasons I stopped going to Walmart. The Fairlife milk is one that I used to drink, I'm type 2. I like the taste so much better than regular milk but I stopped supporting them by buying their product after watching a documentary. I learned they are owned by coca cola and their cows are not treated well at all. We're talking like they are up to their knees in their own feces. It was gross. This was a few years ago so they may have changed things by now.
