Was the tri-x expired or just metered @200 for other reasons eg. shadow details ? I personally like the exposures on the 64T - and those streaks are like some kind of bonus creative accident 😊 …. Really good shots & the b&w double exposure is great! Good work 👍
I love the photo where the model is exhaling smoke. Although you say these are underexposed they look great. Also love the contrast of high victorian Goth on top and sweatpants below.
Thanks Edward. The best part of shooting close up portraits when models can wear the comfiest outfits on the bottom without caring it would get in he shot 😌
Loved the video & the shots you took. I also love the Pentax 645 & the Stearnman developing tanks. If it was not for Stearnman I think I would have stopped doing 4x5!
For professional use, expired film can be a challenge. However, as an amateur who enjoys photography as a hobby, I love experimenting and seeing the results. I often overexpose by 1, 2, or 3 stops depending on the original ISO and how long the film has expired. I apologize if I'm overstepping, I know you're a professional, and I have no intention of teaching, but maybe you could correct me... 🙃
I agree with you! I would not bring expired film on a job, although for work I shoot digital and might throw in a roll or two of film as a bonus, if time allows 🙂
