Thanks for the comparison, Keith. Those photos are gorgeous! I like both papers, but they have very different applications in my opinion, with the FA Baryta being more suited towards graphic, real-life depictions, finer gray level separation and detail, and the Wm Turner more whimsical and 'artsy', with less gray scale width and detail. Hahnemuhle FA Baryta is my go-to paper for most of my B/W work these days. I may give Wm Turner a try and see how it compares to the Canson equivalent. Your videos are a joy. Please keep them coming.
Interesting, Keith. I think I personally prefer the second paper just for the overall look. Congrats on the sale and I'm sure these photos look great matted and framed.
My wife and I visited that same location. Such an interesting landscape there. But I found your video by searching Hahnemuhle William Turner, because it's my favorite paper, the 310gsm weight specifically. I have some Canson Baryta which I do prefer for black and white prints but the William Turner is my go to for color. Now that I think about it, I think we're neighbors (kind of). Aren't you in the Nashville area? I'm in Franklin but was born at Vanderbilt and grew up in Nashville.
