As of 5/6/24 as I'm writing this "Fearless RC" (aka Rovan RC) has this baja with a 30cc engine, radio, ready to run on sale for $450 delivered! So many options for these, I own 4!
Yeah 5th scale r definitely taken the world by storm lately, I am absolutely addicted too I have just bought a roven and I have 1 that currently isn't going but it should be up and running real.soon. I definitely want more tho, just an absolute blast and very addictive
Great video, no stupid music! Soo many options for these Bajas, I own 4. 2 speed transmissions, tons of gearing options, my shorty has a 29cc engine, my biggest baja runs a 45cc with monster truck tires on back. I also own several 4 wheel drive trucks, but bajas are the most fun by far, especially for the price!
The Baja platform is such a blast to drive! I have 2 of these, 1 with a kraken body kit, and 1 with a 5t shell built for the street! These are right up there with the Redcats I have. All are a blast and all are tough! BRAAAAAAP!
@@GussCustomCreations I'm right there with you! My channel used to be about a lot of different things, and I still do a lot of different things but it's main focus now is 3D printing and 1/5 scale gas trucks. I now have five of the fifth scales I have two red cats, two Baja, and a Losi 5T. I plan to get more of course but I think that's a hell of a place to start!
@@GussCustomCreations and so the addiction begins lol! Check out my kraken videos on my channel. I think you would LOVE that setup! It's a fav of mine.
That is a nice baja you have there Gus. A Buddy of mine. wrapped his around a tree years ago. Thank's for sharing Gus. looking forward to the next one. GASGANG 💯🔥🤪👊✌
@@Fernandes352 yeah I have heard it's hard to tune the clutch shift points and if you are running higher HP it won't hold up to much more than stock power.
Great rip !! i have a baja myself with a 32cc falcon 3 engine,....goes like hell !! and did you know btw you can trade your transmitter for the latest version for only 20 of 30 dollar i think and keep your old one ?? I did just that and i got the RC6GS version 3. But the baja platform holds great
Hey i am new to RC cars, i like a Baja 5b for sure, where do you recommend me to buy a car like this, what type of ekster part and tools do you recommend me to buy aswell, greetings from Søren.
Well for a starter RC it's going to depend on how mechanically inclined you are. If you aren't I would recommend an electric. That doesn't mean you can't learn, lots of information out there.
@@GussCustomCreations i have bought a Baja B5 29cc i am so happy for it, i am gonna build a new one op from the ground up with some upgrade parts for my next protject i cant wait to get started with all the building ☺
@@GussCustomCreations Ok so i changed my idea and i just wanna keep one Baja B5 and upgrade the one i have and have a good amount of spare parts, I already got a few upgrades like a Zenoah 32cc motor still under way, a alloy diff and a alloy shock tower and symmetrical steering so its really nice. I feel this new hobby is really nice.
looking to ourchase my first 1/5 scale gas rc car. i really like big monster trucks but what do you honestly recommend between roven, king motor, redcat, etc?!? anyone?
They are all pretty good. Biggest thing with most of them is putting loctite in the screws that go into metal. I really like my redcat. Have had to do a few tweaks but it's been good since. Just put out a new video Tuesday
