This is all the photos and videos I posted to the RPF, for my ORCA version 2 build, Hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it. its been 3 years since waking up and deciding to make the first one.

I've a 3d printed RC Orca I WAS quite pleased with, till I saw this! Bravo Sir, utterly magnificent. (edited to add - my 'Bruce' porpoises when towed at just the right speed, not very realistic but entertains onlookers - I imagine yours will too.)

Love this, I was in Cape Cod in 1976, the year after the film came out and my best mates Mum worked at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute. The film still scares me and kept me out of the ocean that year. I always said, if I won the lottery, I'd build my own life size working ORCA. Great build - truly amazing work.

i have built models as long as i can remember,,over 50 years,,and i heve seen a lot of builds over the years and this one i high up on the toplist,wish i had the uumpf to get over that bump that keep me at "good enough" .go that extra step makes all the diffrence,,good job,,

Where are the days where you all needed to be drawn out by hand on paper and cut out BY HAND , in those days it was called : modelMAKING and BUILDING , nowadays : pff just let the machine do all the work , i can't be bothered . 🙄👎beautiful done anyway 😁😁👍👍

Any one who thinks the machine does all the work has obviously never tried it . The machine can only do what you tell them ,there is no button the says make me something. I’m 55 and been model making 40 year. I can and did do it all by hand back then but like man kind I have evolved and learnt new things like the rest of my trade.
