I show how I create textured organic modern art with inexpensive products and then I show you how to photograph and sell them!
I made this video for anyone who is wanting beautiful art in their homes or to sell it for side hustle income!
***I really do share every little detail bc I know how It feels to know what you want but not know where to start❤️ I know how It feels to need Income but being a creative makes It ten times harder to figure out! I’ve learned all this through trial and error and I wish there would have been a video like this for me 5 years ago!! 🤩🤩🤩 I have found that a variety of painting canvas and furniture as well as selling dry flower arrangements Is the Ideal variety for my ADD and doesnt put all my eggs In one basket. I sell It all on Facebook marketplace and word of mouth

Extra Large plastic putty knife
Small painters knife
Large paint Brush
Sponge
Painters cloth for messes
Optional - Bread Pan from $ store for catching scraped paint
Apple Barrel Paints

Well I am grateful for the fact that RU-vid makes suggestions based on your viewing history because this is the first time I’ve run across your videos and this is what I’ve been looking for due to what I personally want to learn to paint. I love the texture and how you just did this. This is the kind of stuff you pay for a print of in a furniture store for $500 lol. Exactly what I wanted to say!!!!!! We just retired to Florida. I’m so interested now in creating my own abstract paintings with texture and wanted to use some sand and ocean colors to make some pieces for my new beach home. I just didn’t know how. Haha

I am enthralled with your process. If you get one of the large silicone pet pads, and put it at the edge of your canvas, you could scrape up nearly all the paint that you pull off the canvas. I use them to cover my work surface when I'm working with epoxy and molds. Bless you sweet lady for sharing your process with us!

You can get extra large silicone mats for surface coverage where, as another viewer mentioned, when you scrape across canvas the extra paint can then be used for another project. I’m a mess when I paint/resin 😂 Several shopping platforms sell them.

I tried this technique! Do not use old tile adhesive! It doesn’t fully dry and remains very, very tacky! 😂 The only way I could save the expensive canvas was to attach gift bag tissue. After that, I used Gesso and after drying, I am ready to paint. Whew! 😂

another texture is a sponge dabbed. It can create peaks and pocks that can be knocked down or left spiked. The same technique is used on ceilings.
