Very good luck on your life style change. I started mine in 2021. I was 340 at my highest. I had been on so many diets in my life. I would lose and then gain it back again. I'm now 58 and I'm down to 180. I lost a whole other person and I'm very happy where I am. However..... I walk 4 miles a day. During the summer I swim 1 hour of intense cardio. In MN it's way to cold for me to swim now and I miss it a lot. I have never bought clothes out of the misses section, it was always the plus, well now I wear a medium - small. In pants I'm a 14. So I went from 26-28 in size. My husband of 33 years is so proud of me. It's been fffuuunnn cause he's never seen me small and yes 180 is small compared to 340. The key is 3 meals a day at the same time. I eat at 6am.... 12:00 pm then 5:00 pm then I have a snack. I was diabetic and was taken off my meds in 23 with an A1C of 4.9.Exercise, exercise, exercise I can tell you is key. I do the gym, home treadmill and I just started jogging in the last month and I love it.
Great grocery haul. I’m actually on keto and I’m curious to see how you like the spicy quest chips. I have wanted to try them but I don’t care for the other flavors so I’m afraid to try it. I think it’s just the texture I don’t like. In case it helps you, big lots has that monk fruit sweetener and it’s cheaper than other stores. The smashburger tacos are amazing on those low carb tortillas. My word of advice is to be sure the meat layer is thin and covers the entire tortilla because it will shrink inward. 😊 Good luck to you and Mark on your new program!
Hi Vanessa! Love your grocery hauls, they are my favorite to watch. They are particularly meaningful to me because I am from San Antonio. When I see something you have gotten that I would like to try, I know where to go to get it. Thank you for sharing. Love it.
Great swap out choices! 😊 good luck on the lifestyle change! A little bit at a time is the way to go too, for sure! Giving your body time to adjust to change bit by bit is so much more healthier and successfulin the long run than some of the drastic measures out there! 😊
Thanks for sharing the diet plan…May try it myself, since I gained 10 lbs over the holidays! Yikes! I need a plan I can actually follow…. The food you shared looks like I might be able to do it! I always enjoy your grocery haul videos 💕
Hi Vanessa! I understand the healthy lifestyle as my husband recently has to change his diet, so we both are working towards eating healthier together.😊😊 😊😊❤
I have been thinking about signing up for Nicole's program a couple times! I am so excited to see how it goes for you guys! I hope you'll feel comfortable to tell us your results at the end! Great haul! I love when you get lots of specific things for the kids!
Good luck on yalls health journey:) beware of the void ice cream. Its solid black and stains clothes, teeth your mouth, furniture etc but super delicious
Hi Vanessa! Grats on the new lifestyle change, I hope it is a great success for both you and the hubby. If I may make a small suggestion, please get rid of the sugar free maple syrup and go with a pure or real one. There are many benefits to the real one, including anti inflammatory properties. I won’t go on about it but please do some research into it. Also, a great natural peanut butter is the Trader Joe’s brand. I have tried a ton and it’s one of the better ones.
As you were talking about your recipes for this week, I was thinking it was probably Nicole’s program! Best of luck to you & Mark!! I’m sure you’ll rock it! ❤
Great haul, and thank you for sharing. I’d love to try something like that, so I’m definitely interested in hearing what y’all think. I just know I could do better, and move more.
@@xxNinjaclanxx-id9rs I believe so. Some use more natural types like stevia. Monk fruit is probably my favorite natural sugar-free sweetener. But with all of them, it’s really overpowering if you use too much and that pb brand uses a lot.
We didn’t mind it when we tried it last time. Now, I couldn’t just eat it out of the container like a lot of people do but I did like just a little on something else like the rice cakes 😋
Have had those quest chips. Did not care for except one flavor-but can't remember, Sorry! Tortillas they have those low or no carb ones, think by Mission I think that is the name. Those are good! Sandwich bread really good low carb by Sarah Lee. Ice cream by Byers something with the name carb in it... Really good! I get the vanilla and put the Lily's chocolate chips on it. Chocolate chips really gooD. Has 0 net carbs. Butterscotch is good too. Healthy Noodles no carb great taste . Taste like nothing! Only at Costco. At the end in a cooler across from produce heading towards the meat department. Can't find it? Google it snap that picture with the barcode on it. Call the store there and ask where they are at instead of killing yourself walking all over. Sometimes you have to give them the barcode. Very expensive only u and Mark can eat this! You 2 can share 1 pouch. I only eat 1/2 All I do is dump into a colander and rinse it with cold water then hot water. So I'm not eating cold noodles and put my hot food over it. I only use it when I eat spaghetti if I'm in the mood for noodles or if I made chicken Chinese with bean sprouts and mushrooms. Ohh forgot your protein drinks is good for your creamer you use & your no sugar creamers. Make sure you fill on protein unless you will be hungrier. I know I gained 20 lb doing this because I had to go on this with my doctor's advice because I was borderline diabetic and I wasn't going to do those stupid shots so got it under control with my eating habits watching the carbs he said no carbs but I said well I'm not giving up chili and he says will lose a good carbs so I just count them like maybe no more than 30 a day. So, just free advice on some food.. I know you are not doing keto. Ohh and I only like the sugar free Sweet Baby Ray BBQ sauce Hickory flavors only because the original is awful. Haha don't get the kids liking some of this keto stuff. Because this stuff is expensive!!!! Good Luck! Just free advice!
