Maybe someone will come up with a 'mouse wheel' for one hand steering. A little bolt of unit that takes the place of the standard wheel. Little gears in a case that moves the mouse wheel within thumb reach. Gears actuate the OEM wheel mount shaft. Maybe even some different gear options for ratio of mouse wheel rotation to steering wheel rotation. Could be something easily 3d printed.

??? @ 2:55 Re: cutting the foams. Instead of cutting the foams so the firm is on the ID of the rim and the soft is on the OD at the tire, you slice them crosswise? Something like an 1/8th to a 1/4 of the total width slice of the firm on the outside wall to help with the downhill facing collapse. And the softer on the rest of the to still give the nice mushy deformation? Or a firm slice on both inner and outer sides if it's collapsing on the inside too. Just thinking out loud.... 😁👍

Nothing but tire 😂, I don’t have anything that will run these big 1.3 - 1.2 is already getting to big for my rigs, I don’t get all crazy and into the lcg chassis yet, basically just playing with half modded/ half stock trucks, thanks for sharing and happy RCing my friend

Got all 3 new styles. Those pin style tyres you have are 67ml. Wait til u get the 68ml ones. And don't forget the new 60ml knobby ones. Huge hook up on em. Looking sweet on the slayer👍🤠👍

Furitek and the 2.15 update with the nano bam is crazy smooth. Put the punch at 4 and the start up very high your dialed! Seriously I have almost no transmission. That cedar is the winner though! Cant wait to get some of these big boys. Nice vid man!

What axles are you running? Fcx with scx transmission? That’s what I have in this one and just can’t get it worked out. I’ll take any help I can get lol

@@OGKDOG104 I doubt they would be doing that as bad on 1.0 wheels. It’s usually an issue with the wide (island style) wheels or when using larger wheels and stretching them.

I dropped the fcx24 trans in mine, locked in low, with FMS speed motor and fcx24 esc. Solved every gearing issue I was experiencing. Game changer if your running the fcx24 axles. I used the fcx24/furitek grasshopper skid. Easy drop in!

Yeah I just usually like running the scx transmission for more od & a lower cg. I can definitely make it work with the fcx though. May have to idk

I prefer the mud slingers. I like the talking while driving. My most cspible truch is my ax 24 with a big komoto dragon motot abd furitek esc. It climbsgreat but i only have stock trucks to compair to. But she is really capable.

Got a set on the way. My friend's set was only about 65.6mm tall. Yours look shorter than 68 mm as well. Will see when mine arrive. They look killer though

I worried about my center of gravity being much higher if I go for the 68mm... I have a deadbolt with an extended front and am intreagued by these tires to help keep from bottoming out. What are your thoughts... should I stick with the 64s or go ahead and send it big?

I have a similar motor/ESC problem with my Lizard 10 and a 4-pole Castle slate motor. It is like the Lizard 10 is tuned for the 10-pole Perente motor only. Oh, and for the millionth time...stop exaggerating! 😋

I run the Dinky on my ROP and the Furitek Cayman with the micro Komodo, I've had great luck out of them for both, might play with settings on your TX, I had to a bit. Obviously you have a million times more experience than I ever will, maybe you got a bad one, but they can be really good.

@@nathan3856 i think part of it is the motor. I may also pull the od out of the transmission. It’s hard to get a good hold with on the fcx axles with the current setup. I mean it has zero. I have two more brand new dinkys in the pack I’ll probably sell though. I immediately bought a couple more because they were solid out of the pack and I figured with some tuning it would be great. Just not working out that way. If I can’t get it better with a different motor setup I’ll definitely be letting them go.

@2fmrc mine have the OD front axle gears with a standard transmission, the micro komodo is by my favorite motor with these though, if you do swap motors. I hate you're having so much trouble with how much I brag on my Dinky ESC's. It stinks losing money like that. I've really appreciated through the years your honest reviews, it's saved me a ton of money and headache, keep up the great work man, we all appreciate you!

Haha i forgot about the rock bricks I know i have a set laying around bottom of a bin somewhere...You know I really like this whole setup. I actually think I'm liking this more than the hardpark. I'm making kits for scx24 to turn a toy 4wheeler into a capable scale for the 10th scale. I came up with a inexpensive kit that for now will bolt up to a stock deadbolt I'd love to send you one free to get your opinion i don't want any video made or anything just your thoughts options whenever you have time that's all I'll look up your email so I can send you one

I think overall I may like the Injoras best out of any tire but I’ve had a lot of time with them. Definitely need more time with these. The Injora 64mm are killer though.

Yeah those hadn’t came around back then. Honestly I wish we could get more smaller tires. They are just going way too big with them and I the 1.2 & 1.3 wheels just look kinda dumb on most things imo

I’ve been watching the original video and this one, I believe you’ve had the Dinky and Nano Bam paired in both? But in the first video you were running 4s and didn’t seem to have any issues? With 2s you do? Have you tried a 3s? Im going to be trying that combo..

With 3s it has the punch but I can’t get it to hold well. I was pretty excited about it at first because it was solid without any tuning. But I’ve tuned and tuned and honestly can’t tell that any of it does any good. I can’t get any hold out of it and on 2s it’s terrible. I don’t think it pairs well with the nano bam honestly. I’d run a stock fcx setup over this combo atm lol

My Slayer with FCX24 Axles (scx24 trsns) and Mofo SMP/Lizard Pro won't hold either with the drag brake turned all the way up. It doesn't have the gear reduction I guess?

Yeah it’s really hard to get a good hold with the fcx axles. I can usually get just enough with the Furitek esc but even it struggles to get a solid hold. I think with a different motor or pinion the dinky would probably get it done just as well. Just been aggravating trying to get what I want in this build.

I don't want to discredit dinkey because I believe he's really trying to help us I have ran into a few issues too and I just don't have time but I'm going to work on it I made up my mind to other day that I was going to put it in the trx4mwith the 4100 bam motor and try get it right just takes time

Yeah he’s really willing to help and it’s not a bad esc. I loved it initially because it seemed solid for just tossing into my rig. Figured with some tuning it would be great. But I’ve not been able to get it tuned and really haven’t had the time to spend with it. That’s part of my problem. I don’t have time to mess around with it for days. I have too much stuff I’m trying to get vids done on and when I can throw in something else and go it’s just easier. I’m sure I’ll get it lined out when I get a chance to put the work in.

They would fit the super wheels well. I almost mounted them to mine but I honestly hate the super wheels. Love the look. Hate how they perform.

I think so. I put one in my trx4m which is heavy it's the defender and it works really well. My issue is how long they last so will see. Had an ecopower that lasted 3 years of just about every day use 😆 🤣

love the DJC tires! just got these, the other monster sized 1.0 ones with that weird kinda almost monster truck tread, and one of the 60*25mm (the ones that kinda look like super swampers) in the mail... can't wait to not have time to try all of them :D edit: i would guess that these pins might perform a bit better than other pins in loose/wet because the pins are bigger and they're more like "mini lugs" not unlike what's on the hyraxes?

@@Muddauber7 oh wow! You got your work cut out for you going up against Furitek! I think as long as you can make a comparable product for cheaper than Furitek, you have a market. Not everyone can afford a brushless system but we all want one!

Yeah he’s definitely tried getting me lined out. It’s not that at all. He runs a great setup and I didn’t mean to bash his product or anything. I just haven’t had the time to devote to get it sorted out. So I just swapped it out for now. It’ll get lined out I’m sure. It’s a great esc. Just takes a little more tuning BUT this is an oddball setup I’m running so it’s tough to get what you want with anything in it honestly. Hopefully at some point I can get caught up on content and have some time to devote to getting it lined out. My head is just spinning with stuff I need to get done atm 😆
