Omg how they walk all over those bottles. Imagine it cracks underneath the bottle from the weight of the person and water leaks out and fish just dies from lack of water 😢
If you must have music underneath the audio at least make its volume lower... first prize would be no music... it's hard to hear you sometimes...the music volume is too loud...
Very true, during my childhood days, I used to catch a lot of wild beta from our rice fields. They are one the easiest to catch because of their love for small puddles filled with plants.
@misatosdirtyfeet I've watched YT videos and yes, bettas in the wild do live in puddles in certain parts of the country and some live in shallow ponds. The guy who was looking for them fished the elephant tracks and you could find them in those! 😆
You do know they live in small pools of water? Also most of these bettas have been selective breed to show certain traits. These fancy bettas do not occur in nature. As you can see from the video these fish are very healthy and when they go to individual homes they'll probably live a very good life.
Me parece una aberracion, los latinos por lo menos respetan al animal en sus humildes neveras llenas de agua y peces comunitaros,rs mejor que haya bajas y heridos!: pero que vivan como peces ,no tamagotxisbettas.😢
They're gonna import them and will not stay at that place for a long time. Also they're farmers this is how they earn. The can't have thousands of 5 gallon tank.
@@misatosdirtyfeet please come out of your basement. The betta you're getting also came from the same place snowflake. Wdym the ones that don't get sold? They're huge breeders they ship them to a country after shipping them it's not their duty to see if they get sold or not. From there it goes to many shops or to the vendor that ordered them. Step out of your basement see the real world learn about it. I'm also a breeder myself I also sell bettas. The breeders ship them to a country cause someone or many vendors ordered the bettas. THEY ARE SHIPPING NOT SELLING, All of them gets shipped.
We should also remove all of the ones that are living naturally in a similar situation and put them in 5 gallons as well. No body is out in the rice paddy telling them they are being abused 😂
Fish are very hardy and can withstand this type of living conditions even if hypocritical humans think it’s wrong. People got businesses to run not peoples feeling to care about.
So, no filters, no air stone, no space AND they turn out beautiful and healthy enough to keep this a viable business? How does this work 🤔 And we've all been told they need all this stuff to live healthy lives in America, or live at all. I don't get it. How long are they in those dirty bottles? Not long hopefully. And the concrete tubs have some room but no plants to use up fish waste or provide oxygen. How do they not die from ammonia?
Betta in wild is used to such harsh environment, there are some documentaries about it. Selection breeding is the key why they're so beautiful, in fact that they need some special treatment for the water so they'll not sick and make the color mutation goes faster. Idk how northern hemisphere environment would affect betta fish, here in tropical environment, they'll be fine in such small bottle.
Yes how magnificent thousands and thousands of tiny little bottles that aren't even halfway filled with water how many of those fish get forgotten and left in the bottles and end up dying there is no way that you could keep track of that many tiny freaking bottles of fish how do you even feed them and you say that they used to walk in them but they don't anymore how do you get to the fish in the middle then poor fish
Research has shown that methylene blue is used to relieve stress in fish, as well as color changes caused by stress. While this is a temporary measure, it can stave off other problems such as fin rot, fungal infections and bacterial infections
@@zaziebe should I get some to use? By betta I just got at petsmart is showing signs of fin rot suddenly 2 weeks after I got him (he’s in very good water conditions, 5 gal. Tank and I’m feeding him enough so I assume it’s from when he was in the cup he was sold in for almost a week because I didn’t have what I needed when I got him)
@@L1ttlef0ot If you have a pump that is too powerful it could be what ruined the fins which is why they use sponge filters usually for bettas, or reduce the power of your pump @L1ttlef0ot
Even if everyone is complaining about it they must be doing something right or they wouldn’t have so many making it to adulthood. It’s interesting to see how they do this all behind the scenes.
it also interesting most of their betta fish grow healthier and had vibrant colors unlike we find in pet store, and they raising them in this method for decades
