Could you make a video on what it would be like to stand on a planet being ripped apart by tidal forces? Would it have rocks flying off the surface? Would you fly off the surface?
I know this has nothing to do with the video, but hear me out. Why does everybody assume all life needs oxygen and water to survive. Our needs for life may be different than an alien species needs for life. So, somewhere in the universe/ universes there may be a different kind of life that we cannot comprehend. It maybe in a alternate dimension or in ours, but it’s just a theory.
Oxygen may very well not be needed. We have life even here on Earth that does not require oxygen. But when it comes to water, there are few liquids that are better suited for the task. I guess theoretically one can imagine for instance methane-based life (on Titan and elsewhere). But methane is only liquid at very low temperatures, so any such lifeforms (if they exist) would be bound to be more rare.
Hey bro don’t believe it all- just wonder how they know a sun 1000 light years away is made of carbon, and how they can measure the forces of the black hole in the centre of our galaxy, and how they can even see the black hole, we only just got 4K imagery of mars…
Even though that close up to CQ Lupi b is a simulation of what it looks like, it still made me kinda panic lol It's both terrifying and fascinating to know that there are planets bigger than Jupiter
I had a crazy dream/wish i.e to be able to travel to see those beautiful and incredible universe containing different types of planets out there.. nice video my gk was slightly increased again xD👍👍👍
i love that jupiter is in a way as large a planets really get, early planets are all puffed up from their heat of formation but will contract as they cool, and most large planets and even many brown dwarfs we've seen in their later ages are all around the size of jupiter, even though the latter may have many tens of times the mass of jupiter itself! some people call jupiter a failed star which is so sad because in reality its a very very successful planet
Dreksler Astral There really needs to be a definition to properly tell the difference between a planet larger than Jupiter and a brown dwarf. Do you agree?
I wouldnt be surprised if HD 100546 b would form some absolutely massive moons probably the size of jupiter and that would make them gas moons. and even more strange is because HD 100546 b is so puffy these jupiter like moons would be puffy moons.
