Time for something a little different. We watched the launch video of the latest yacht by Abeking & Rasmussen and we agreed it is such a beautiful yacht. And it gave me an idea, to make our own launch promo video of the yacht and talk a little about it.
So here is what we came up with. Let us know what you think of the video (and the yacht), we think it's a stunner!

I agree that tjis yacht is elegant & timeless. The glossy black hull takes this to another level. I hope the owner takes it to the Monaco yacht show and lets eSysman do a tour. That would be fabulous.

I too really like the "classic" lines and style of this yacht. I believe this is one that you would never tire of seeing. By far my favorite yacht styling.

This is the most elegant superyacht launched in recent years, many will say it doesn't have enough interior volume for its lenght, but thats exactly what the designer wanted to do in the first place. Its gorgeous, timeless. It looks like a gentlemans Luna, outstanding job by everyone involved. Notice they put the anchor pockets underwater to have the glossy elegant line uninterrupted.

Agree with your opinion. The ship as presented has a class of its own. I like the music better than the shipyard’s. Makes me think about ships in the era of WWI cruising in the Baltic Sea. Thanks for this eye candy.

Elegant and timeless...two very appropriate words mentioned in previous comments about this design. I personally LOVE it. With her glossy black hull, near vertical bow, and simple austere superstructure, she does exhibit lines of the classic ocean liners of yesteryear, but with a modem twist. I also read that Liva incorporates its anchors inside her hull, to keep the bow section looking clean and uncluttered. Never seen that before in any yacht! Her beam is unusually narrow for her length, so I'll assume she is extremely efficient with regards to range and fuel consumption. Hopefully, she should have top of the line stabilizers to offset the roll she'll experience, with such a narrow beam. My only niggle is her very small windows on her superstructure. You own a super yacht, surely you'll want as much of a view of the ocean as possible! But alas, I'm not the owner. 😭. Lastly, another comment mentioned this as well, but your edit of A&R's video has much better music to it, kudos eSys! Joseph Dirand hit this one out of the ballpark! Top 5 super yacht design for me. Thanks eSys for bringing this to us. I think more videos of major launches like this is definitely a good idea for your channel. Speaking of which, I've been following your channel for years; keep up the great work and don't let the naysayers get to you!

I like this video's format, but I'm especially pleased with the exterior styling of M/Y Liva. A&R did a beautiful job with this one. It is timeless but still strikes a chord with the most cutting-edge hull design. Your re-edit of the yachts factory presentation shows exceptional skill in merging sound with this yachts immense presence, great job. Rock

Liva is both a river, and a town in Estonia. It is also a town in Sweden, where one of my wife's great-grandparents is from.

The Yacht has a nice blend of a traditional classic look with modern functionality. The propellors for example use a modern design which you would never find on an old yacht.
