You are truly a Jill-of-all-Trades! And you fish too! I love it. Thank you for being courageous for sharing your vintage photo. I am a child of the 80s and have many bad hair moments that I would love to leave in the past. Also, thank you for showing us your full seat adjustments. I have a similar waist-full hip body type as you and am always confused by the kinds of adjustments that are needed to make a pant fit well so I just avoid trying to make pants. However, you make it look really easy and I also love stretch woven fabrics for all bottoms due to weight fluctuations. The faced waistline seems like it would dig in less at the waist as well and there is a full tummy adjustment ready to go. Another great Love Notions pattern!

Thanks! The sea was terrible man. That is the same day when they had the drownings at brandons and speighstown. Also grab this fabric from abeds asap! It is not the usual stretch twill.. feel really soft and brushed on the right side and it has a nice thickness!

On the back side of your pants, what I do is take a bigger seam. I know it doesn't sound right, but it adds room. Try it using a basting stitch....Love the video.

Yup that is exactly what it is. But I really don't want to unpick my back seam as it has been topstitched down already. In any case the pants have already stretched slightly from wear and they really don't look like that wedgie anymore thankfully. 😄

I love cargos. I have at least 5 different patterns for cargos from as many pattern companies. The facing waistline grabbed my attention immediately.

The facing is a major plus for me. I love facings on a whole both on tops and bottoms. I find them easy and quick to sew.

Haha! I am always playing the guessing game at the fabric stores here 🤦🏾‍♀️ some have no labels at all but the price and then lots are mislabelled. I often see rayon labelled as cotton and I am always tempted to take my own pen and correct it 🤣🤣🤣
