This is definitely afrobeats from Nigeria 🇳🇬 It has that juju fela vibe with a lot of Nigerian Pop new school elements. While still being creative and clean. I love this. Brown be making that bass guitar sing
I guess it's probable that the inspiration for this rendition might be from the vibes you mentioned earlier but I don't think it's Afro from Nigeria. This song has been played in various renditions by the song writer, Larnerll Lewis. Let give him that acknowledgement as well. Great post Bro. 🤝
Larnell Lewis has such a creative mind, I envy him... At the same time, he inspires me, what a musical experience he just gave me, I had to watch this over and over again! I am in tears, so soothing and mellow... Drift away type of music... Wow😭 Can I get an album please 🙏
This is the greatest thing I have ever seen in my entire existence this is beyond music and art. I got drifted away holding my head like what just happened I have never experienced something like this before. 👏👏👏👏👏❤️❤️
This is awesome!! Larnell Lewis with Rich Brown is pure musical heaven to the ears!!!! This was beautiful and soothing!!!! I could listen to this all day!!!!
WAIT!!!!! Hold on one KOSMIC minute!!! Where did this one come from?!!! I thought I was clicking on Ukudlala and this came on! I'm sooooooooo blown away! Can we please get info on buying these Ancestral Galactic Rhythmic Vibrations???!!!! Can we?! I NEED this!!! And to like it 50 bazillion times!
This track really brings attention to the deep, rich sound created from that floor tom with the black gel head! I feel like I remember him describing that particular drum having snares on it as well, for more dynamic sound options, but I couldn’t spot any in this video.
What Larnell was playing on the Yamaha DTX Multi, was it a sequence triggered inside the Yamaha muti or it was done using a DAW? I'm curious about that.. I have an old Roland TD-6 and you can have a sequence in the module and use a pad to trigger each note of the sequence everytime you hit the pad, which is clearly what he was doing.
