Welcome back to another special “Off-The-Rack” LARP video where this time we take a look at a local crossbowman and begin the quest for the perfect LARP arrow!

This time my haul came in from IDV Engineering and a local arbalest, Tom Schwirian for a grand total of $78.00 (before shipping, discounts, and other cart items). Let me know what you think of the review and if I should review any items you’re curious about.

I've just ordered one, thank you so much for the review! Also, you can make that arrow type much safer by adding a 2.5" square cube of open celled foam to the tip, using contact cement to secure it, then wrapping fabric and fabric taping it down to the haft. The foam on those is a bit harsh at less than 5 ft.

I love Cross bow, its very cheap, but in Our country India is very costly due to heavy import duty and Taxes. Your explaination i like, you keep making some more videos , I subscribed to you .Love from India.

$50?? That’s almost too cheap, especially for the quality xD. For some reason it never occurred to me that crossbows exist. They seem so effortless to aim and require way less skill (which is the point of the original crossbow I guess). Definitely going to look into getting one, thanks for the amazing video mate!

Loving these videos (and starting the google search for LARP in my neck of the woods)! Small note tho, $50 + 3x $13 + 3x $3 is $98. Maybe I missed something in that calculation tho!

for safer arrows would you be willing to test the arrows from B3 imagination studio? they produce arrows for bicoline.

Dagorhir for some reason only allows 12 inch draw for some reason.

While the maker's makes a excellent looking crossbow, they forget to add a arrow retention spring! That's why your bolts need a notched nock to hold onto the string.
