Bronson Pinchot and Mark Linn-Baker return to host in the new season of TGIF for ABC in the fall of 1990. Here they introduce season premieres of Full House, a one-hour Family Matters and Going Places.
Sweet lovely days of my childhood. I remember Friday nights 1990, 1991, 1992, and 1993 to 95 when me my mom and dad and my big bro had so much fun watching Full House, Perfect Strangers, Family Matters, and Step By Step together. Those were lovely memories that I cherish in my heart forever. TGIF was awesome; these were still the sweet old days when ABC and all the other channels, NBC, CBS, and FOX still created awesome shows and cartoons...those were definitely the sweet old days...Thank God for those lovely days and years.
ABC really had confidence in Family Matters to give it an hour to premiere in its sophomore season. I don’t think that was ever done again for the show.
J Williams For the eighth season, Family Matters has a three part premiere set in Paris (Parts 1 and 2 aired on September 20, 1996, Part 3 on September 27, 1996).
ABC's TGIF lineup for Friday September 21, 1990 (the 1990-91 season premiere). 8pm - Full House (season 4 premiere: Greek Week) 8:30pm - Family Matters (season 2 premiere: Rachel's Place/Torn Between Two Lovers; Perfect Strangers season 6 premiere aired the following week) 9:30pm - Going Places (series premiere: Welcome to L.A.) 10pm - 20/20
My favorite memory of TGIF was watching that episode of Full House in February 1991 when they aired the episode of Jesse and Rebecca's wedding. Cried my eyes and always do whenever I hear that lovely song "Forever".
@@gameshowguy2000 If you mean by _Family Matters_ and _Jodie_ and _Step by Step_ - not all TGIFs were Miller Boyett - _Boy Meets World_ was Touchstone and _Sabrina, the Teenage Witch_ was Viacom
