Remember how everyone says Bird was slow and couldn't jump? Luka is slower than Bird and can't jump as well as Bird. And can't shoot as well as Bird. Or pass as well. Or rebound as well. Or defend as well. And Luka is destroying the NBA.
luka is actually a bit better leaper and even though he doesn't make some of the passes larry made, he also makes some passes that larry never made.... i think larry is more of a team force (like jokic)...luka really lacks only that one thing right now (i don't consider defense as important in basketball as other sports)
Bird, best all around player ever, and most exciting to watch. You will be amazed in every game. His game was his mind and so in todays game that would work just as well. And he did win the 3 point contest 3 years in a row, at 6'10". The closest we have today is the Joker.

6:45 the look. Entering beast mode. This is after he dribbled his face off the floor. And he came back and went off on the pacers. With a broken bone in his face. And double vision. I think it was Chris LaSalle of the pacers. Who said. Birds game is what you tell your kids about. He never saw anything like what Bird did that game.
when Dee Brown was talking about the shot at Portland they showed the wrong shot and the wrong game, it happened almost at the end of his career and was the shortest 3pt shot in history
It’s fun to see the younger generations discover Legend, I’ll grant you that. But the error everyone comes to is when they say confidently, “Larry would score X points per game.” The problem is: Bird didn’t think like that. Or play like that. Yes, he scored. Yes, he had big games. Yes, he was clutch. But if he could beat you by feeding his team the ball… he’d do that. Or he could focus on denying you the ball and out rebounding you. His goal was to beat you and embarrass you in the process. “HOW” was not a huge part of his calculation. He had every tool in the toolbox and he was savage with them. I don’t know if he comes into the modern game shooting threes all night. Maybe he’d get 25 rebounds on you. Maybe he’d log 19 assists. He’d beat you, though. He’d see to that. THAT was LB: all night, every night. In many ways he was like Jordan in that way. But Bird was more lethal. Ask Jordan if that’s true. Who knows what Bird would score in today’s game. Doesn’t really matter when he’s demolishing you to your face.
Larry is so clutch on top of all these other things, but bird i dont think he want nites off so who knows what bird would do today,id only worry about that trash talking, he have to be slick asf about it #LB33 ❤🐦, id draft him in a heartbeat, the rest takes of itself
Larry Bird in his prime (without any injuries) would average over 46 points per game easily. You couldn't block him without touching him. He would rip the 3s for at least 30. His free throws would be astronomical... Somebody should clone his ass and give this generation such a player.. Remember, he'd still be the tough no quit team player he was ....
One last thing.. If you really love the game of basketball, you have to show love to Larry.. What he accomplished and gave us, worth every cent on the price of a ticket. He did what very few have ever done. Played more for the love of the game than the love of money with the loyalty to that team for their entire career... During his entire career. He made a poultry 24 million... Harding got what now for 1 year? 40 mil? Why is this ticket $500? Damn!
Larry had those stats @ age 30 and he only shot like 3, 3pt per game ,Larry have to adjust for sure, but he be a little higher then that,im only worried about birds trash talking, lol
In today's league bird would score 50 a game easy in the 80s they rarely called fouls they call to many fouls in today's league and bird rarely missed a foul shot
You need to pause the video when you want to say something. You're talking over the person on the video that is supposed to be what you're watching the video for and missing a lot of key points.
What Lebron and Jordan fans have to realize is Larry Bird only played 13 seasons. No other player has passed his accomplishments in the same or shorter time.
You're doing this backwards. The reaction is about Larry Bird. He should be the big screen and you should be the small screen. After all this is not about you. Change the size of the video and make yourself as small as you can!
