@@flangecorp9789 Frank, Larry, and Michael having an argument about toasters. And they say Infinity War was the most ambitious crossover event in history...
At 2:07, it sounds like Loretta caught herself starting to say "Larry", then quickly changed it to "LD". Wonder if that was almost a mistake that she quickly corrected.
He's right, you can't pause toast. When you interrupt and remove it, it cools, and moisture from the air condenses on the partially toasted bread. Then the retoast attempt has to spend a lot of time re-drying the bread before actual toasting can continue, and it will be incomplete. It's like a whole NASA level operation. Can't do it at home.
BenB8290 There are plenty of people who have worked a long time in the middle class with careful investing who have put together 7 figures worth of assets. Doesn't mean you can live in the ritziest neighborhoods, own a fancy car etc. If you're a billionaire, you're on a different level and you can basically buy whatever you want. 10 of each.
Gee, thanks for the economics lesson, you captain of the obvious fucktard. Larry David didn't get rich by clipping coupons and buying clothes at Target, you idiot, he is worth probably like $600 million or some shit like that -the original poster's comment made perfect sense and yet you had to come in here on a RU-vid comment and give us your Suze Orman finance lesson. Jesus fucking Christ!!!!
New toaster that doesn't take a year: $30 Taxi ride for woman who needs to get to an interview: $50 Not making your wife divorce you and take half money when you're a billionaire: Priceless.
Is Larry's father saying he got a happy ending?.... WTF... who would do that to an old man like that?! ...... im uh.... im asking for a friend of mine..
Shelley was one of the greatest improvisers of all time. He never would take off his toupe in public. Larry told him that he wanted him to play his father but that he'd have to play him without the toupe. Great decision because Shelley was just brilliant and hysterical. RIP Shelley!
one of the best things about LD is he brings guys like Shelly Berman out for us to enjoy again. He gets the best cast members because they probably crack him up too.
Wide-slot toasters have ruined breakfast. The heating elements are so far away from the bread that it takes literally _forever_ to toast the bread. Yes, _literally!_ If the breakfast-impaired fools designing these mechanical atrocities make the slots any wider, we'll be able to fit entire loaves in there, which is no exaggeration, as bread continues to shrink at a literally _alarming_ rate. *It's an outrage.*
Only Ed and The Almost Literally, Ed? Are you sure? Well, then they aren't toasters at all, are they, since the bread never actually becomes toast. I guess they are just slotted electrical devices. In the words of Seinfeld, regarding his maid, "What the hell did I just pay for?"
I know i’m supposed to be invested in the toaster part of this scene but I can’t get over how stunning Vivica Fox looks in that blazer and skirt. she really is a fox. fucking hot.
I was just wondering about that actor earlier this year, around May. Found he had retired and was suffering from Alzheimer's. Looks like he died about a month ago, Sept 1 2017. Very sad, RIP.
It depends on the severity of the toasting. If it remains as bread, then you're safe. If it has transformed into a toast like state, you're outta luck. Too dry, too burnt. Been there, done that.
0:27 you get a good look at Senior's glasses. They are the same prop that Larry has in season 4 in his costume for The Producers. What a frugal man. I love LD.
A millionaire who hasnt got a decent toaster, thats the funniest part like he couldnt own the worlds latest most high tec toaster or just get a toasted sandwhich from a deli or something.
That’s Shelley Berman playing Larry’s dad. He was also in an episode of The Twilight Zone, where he played a misanthropic office worker. I knew he sounded familiar
Wait so they waited "15 whole minutes...on that damn toaster" but the boss waited half an hour for Loretta. So she was late even before the toaster process?
