Damn, I thought this popped up in my feed because i was just thinking of this scene the other day, and my phone sometimes reads my mind. Didn't know Richard had died. That sucks.
RIP Richard Lewis! Saw this way back in 2002 when I was around ten when my parents weren't home, LMAO. It always managed to make me break out into fits of laughter. There will never be another. Fly High Richard!
If this was shot in 2002, both must have been 54 years old. While Richard looked 54, Larry looked 76 even at 54 and still looks like a 76 year old but Richard aged badly and looked over 90 when he died.
Larry David (me) and Richard Lewis(them) reminds me of my relationship with my family and my friends😂 Richard Lewis was a sweetheart tho. Shoutout to late night cable TV as a kid/teenager who had to BEG, BEG I say, for a TV/cable combo in my room swearing Id be in bed by 9, lights out and def not watching Curb, Taxi Cab Confessions, Loveline, Dr Sue, Insomniac with Dave Attell, Real Sex and everything else😂 im sorry but when i realized what was on living room tv i could no longer survive off of radio and sneaking pokemon on gameboy...good times good times 😂
I remember watching some of his debut stuff with my dad in the 80s. Richard's style has always resonated with me. I think I understand his mind too well. I too have been gaslighted into being a momma's boy. It's awful. 😬
