Love your videos. I have a 2022 Silverado RST, and just bought my son a '97 Lariat and looking forward to working with him on mods, and improvements. Will definitely subscribe and look forward to learning from y'all. First upgrade (budget) will be headlights and taillights. Second - tinting the windows Third - Lift / Level kit, and then rims/tires This is gonna be fun.

My 2016 xlt 5.0 sport sounds the same way. It’s catback straight piped with factory side exit exhaust. It’s loud as hell when you cold start it in the mornings.
Got me a 99 ford with the 5.4 as well. I gutted all 4 cats no muffler straight piped to a single to a side exit. Shes plenty loud for me but she doesn't clap like larry. I might have to actually remove the rear cats completely replace it with some pipe. Love how larry sounds

I’ve never heard a 5.4 sound like that it sounds so good it’s not earaping and the exhaust drone is good you can still hear but I wonder what it sounds like in person
I have a 1995 GMC Sierra 2500 5.7L V8 similar **looking** to Larry. But I have nothing on Larry considering I just got my truck a couple months ago and still in the process of fixing up mechanical issues, however one day I'm hoping to build my truck up to my dream truck. I made my first "major" upgrade a couple days ago and got Flowmaster Super 10s installed with turned down exhaust tips right off the muffler. It sounds pretty sick considering it's Flowmaster's loudest street legal muffler. My next upgrade I'm hoping to order some LED lights to replace my stock lights. Still pretty new in this field but finally getting more comfortable experimenting with how I can improve my truck. Been watching this channel for inspiration. BTW, found out you're from Alabama. My dad lives there and it's a beautiful state. Debating on whether or not I should stickerbomb my truck's tint brow like you did to Larry. I will continue to come to this channel for entertainment and to assist me in the creativity process :)

That's what I wanted but my 89 f150 with the 302, its 2 1/4 inch straight piped to 4 inch tips, it doesn't make enough compression as a 5.3 and or 5.4, so it doesn't continuously clap, but its decent though
I like the video. I have a 97 4.6 with daul cat back exhaust 3" in and daul 2" out. The cats are fried and o2 sensors are blown . Do you have any suggestions?.
Truck sounds awesome just a little louder than I want mine still trying to figure out what I want to do with mine it that with no cats or 2 cats just to give me ideas
I cut my muffler off a little over a year ago, and the exhaust ends where I cut. Enjoyed it for as long as it’s been like that, but I want it to clap. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still really loud but I want the clap sound goin down the road with it, not just the rumble. Wanna switch it up a bit. If I put the exhaust back on, but with a straight pipe in place of the muffler, will that do the trick? Just curios...thanks!

He only cut the back 2 cats not the front 2....if I'm not mistaken that body style only had 2 O2 sensors and they are before the front 2 cats so u can delete all of them and have no CEL but I could be wrong haven't looked under one lately as I own a chevy
I got a f150 extended cab long bed with a 4.6 v8 I want to duel it out but I am cutting all the cats off and glass packs on it how do you think it will sound
