@@johnnyboy7256 that story about Scarpa not wanting blood from black people isn’t true. Larry actually told the story in another interview. Scarpa didn’t just the hospital blood, period. It didn’t matter whose blood the hospital had, he didn’t trust it. His logic was he knew his soldiers under him and knew they weren’t gay or IV drug users so he only trusted getting blood from them because he felt safer that way. It turned out one of his guys who matched Scarpas blood type was a IV steroid user and that’s how he contacted AIDS. Scarpa obviously didn’t know that. It turned out Scarpa would’ve been safer with the hospital blood.
