Congrats Warriors still by far the best team in the league. Shoutout to KD for winning another Finals MVP and to Steph since he was huge for the Warriors as well. I may not like the team but as a fan of the game I gotta respect them
2000 nba champions congrats for the warriors you made this far in season i always respect you curry and durant well congrats to winning finals mvp you pull it of
17RedKnight. I know, best on his team. 2nd best in the league. Likely best in years to come. Even tho he joined the best regular season team ever. Just sayin, curry aint in any convos with Lebron because of it
Will no ones going to say Currys a better player than Lebron, and of they do, theyre wrong and just living in the moment. But it is funny how Lebrons has had five more tries than Curry but still has the same number of rings than Curry
17RedKnight bruh it’s sad not funny. I could care less. My teams the sorry ass bulls. But damn to average basically 30-10-10 throughout the playoffs 2 years in a row? And still get the L? Damn. I would be devastated
I would have given it to Steph. For two reasons. 1. Just so I can stop seeing people bring up him lacking a Finals MVP as if the damn thing is the Holy Grail. It's fucking not. It's an arbitrary award that is second to what is actually important. Rings. 2. The NBA owes him one. No offense to Iguodala, but Steph was clearly the Finals MVP in 2015. Regardless, Steph has the right mindset in general. If he really cared about Finals MVP, he would have never wanted KD on the team in first place. Dude cares about championships, as he should.
Roaming Shaman AI was the reason why they won in 2015. Cavs were poised to take a 3-1 series lead without love or Irving might I add when Kerr inserted him in the staring lineup for game 4. That move changed the whole series and I'm glad the voters recognized that
Except what you're describing is a good coaching decision. Iguodala being put into the lineup and the Warriors dominating the rest of the way doesn't actually prove that Iguodala was the MVP. All it proves is that he was a missing puzzle piece that Kerr utilized. But he wasn't the single most important puzzle piece. Have Iggy start the entire series and take Steph out of the lineup, the Warriors get swept. It's not even a close series. Hell, have Iggy start the series and he's not even considered for MVP. His inclusion halfway through the series created a false narrative surrounding his importance. What Iggy does is give the Warriors the small ball lineup of death. But you can say same thing about the other four starters. They ALL create that lineup and make it as good as it is. But Steph was clearly the most important factor in the 2015 NBA Finals.
Roaming Shaman facts...also was a huge factor in game 1 and obviously game 2.. Durant had 43 but Stephs presence impacted that.. Durant rarely (if at all) was double teamed.. he had managble and sometimes even easy shots that entire game. Nonetheless salute to both of them though. Both are mvps in my book.
well next nba season the warriors will move to chase center in the bay area it good beacause it time for a chance I don't know what they going to do to oracle areana after they move we don't know
I'm so happy, no reason for me to be... it's weird. I don't hate bron, I kind of don't like ohio, not my kind of state.. then again I was in Dayton for a few months. I'm from the West coast, but not a Warriors fan. I just like more players on the Warriors I guess. Either way, my Blazers need to win, or Sonics need to come back and win.
KD deserves it. In every possible situation, KD rose above everything the Cavs could throw at GSW. Lebron couldn't stop the guy and he's supposed to be the greatest player in the world. KD is going to make a TON of analysts reevaluate their position on KD's position amongst the greats. He simply outplayed the Lebron when it mattered the most...this year resulting in a sweep of the "king" ...lower case on purpose.
Best believe that shit!. Kawhi healthy next season. Also....if Klay Thompson doesnt sign back with the GSW when his contract is up, the spurs may snatch him.
Warriors were already great, adding KD for a super team makes the NBA lame. We all knew this year was a foregone conclusion. LAME unhonorable championship.
KD ruined NBA - No Doubt! wish that the NBA will go back to normal.. since GSW 2015/2016 this team was the best team who already got 73-9 standing w/out KD? where best 2016 season.. where NBA/Gsw still accepted KD trade-in
@Shaun King, When did King James "Stack the deck"? When he left a garbage team that he had to carry to the finals as a rookie for a Miami team that got swept in the first round of the playoffs the year before King James joined them? Don't compare LBJ's move to what that punk KD did.
overlordkias no matter how you slice it “the decision” was what started all this. You not believing “the decision” changed the nba might help you sleep at night but it doesn’t change the fact that Lebron started that movement.
#NotARealDynasty Patriots and New York Yankees will forever be American sport's greatest period of dominance. Enjoy your 2nd and last ring you Snake. California is also Laker nation. Kobe and Shaq attack were more entertaining than this high school skirmish.
