@@mgpod577 Same! Just wish they had given Humphrey a bit more than mainly beheaded paintings and statues, something that told us about his life like when Henry VIII came to Button House, he actually came to West Horsley Place and the event was very well documented so maybe they could have used that
@@suzannechender3964 I eent to West Horsley Place yesterday. Not the Ghosts tour, which was unfortunately booked full this week, but we did get to see the stuffed bear, the dollhouse, lady Button’s dress and portrait, and the mouse hole in the stair. Also found the tree against which Thomas lay dying.
3:27 As a milliner, this always hurts me a bit... Luckily we've got "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" "The top hats are fabulous?" "No (they are)" from the historical paramedics to even things out :)
My perfect comfort person! Every character he does I think, “Right, this is my favourite Larry character”, & then I see the next, and he tops himself! (So to speak) Perfect example is Yonderland: Ho-Tan, Kendall, Geoff, Det. Mountebank, Edith, & Wizard Bradley… plus y’know, all the others 😍 Fell for them backwards to most fans - saw them first in ‘Ghosts’, & went back to obsessively watch everything else they ever did. And it was all down to one moment, Nigel asking Allison if she needed a glass of milk, one he couldn’t even provide. There was just such a rare surreality & warmth to our little comedy show in that moment, that I fell hard. Thank you for this lovely gift of our lovely Larry! 💜🌈👻
