Worked there as forklift driver, then beach gang, and then machinist from 1978 through 1982. Loved every minute. Someday, I'll go back to visit. Glad to see the tough old cannery is still operating.

I was a deck hand in and out of there. hard work there also. Salmon berries n Milk N sugar...mmmm mmmm... do the japanese still have their own Accomodations there for the workers? bring cookies to the dump in case of emergency!!

Dude it's a cannery what do you expect? Hard work that's what's all about dude no slacking off, busy until the season ends, at least it's better than working for a sports fisherman and being hired as a deck hand and being paid less than what you earn at the cannery.

@@fishingwithmike828 he must've 🤣 couldn't handle it, the work was too much for him, hahaha 😆 shoot cannery workers get it easy to work inside a building while we fisherman work and risk our lives to get the fish and sell it to you guys.
