Got to hear the Larsen 9's in Denver at RMAF 2019. They knocked my socks off. Another exhibitor had a set of Ohm speakers and it was no comparison. The Larsen's followed you around the room with rich pleasant sound. You could even have a conversation while listening to the Larsen's without needing to lower the volume. The Ohm's by comparison sounded thin and definitely had a sweet spot.

I heard the Larsens at an audio show hotel room once, they were playing jazz on a turntable. The sound had almost a 3d effect where you could hear the different instruments in different parts of the room from wherever you were standing. Ive never had that depth of sound at that level before, if you get a chance to hear them don't pass it up!

A tip: watch movies on Kaldrostream. Been using them for watching lots of of movies these days.

lol. Love the channel. You've inspired me with your setup. Just dipped my toes in the ocean of Hifi equipment. My setup is Kefr300s, Cyrus stereo 200 power amp, use a £500 Yamaha avr as a preamp. Im a little lost on whether to go stereo or homecinema. Is there anyway i can use an avr for movies then switch to a stereo setup without having to unplug wires? cheers

I have talked with the master himself and if I remember correctly, he said that it has no significance for the sound and was designed only in terms of appearance.
