Alright to eliminate anymore comments asking the same questions I did not make this song, the language is Latin, and I do not have the sheet for this. This song is under the Creative Commons license so you may use this song for projects and stuff as long you credit Alisa/ellebirdy23/VGSongbird/whatever she's going by these days.
For anyone asking this is what the author meant for the lyrics to mean: We share one mind Time cannot bind us Remember The heart we share Now the enemy arms destroy me Farewell Yes this is beautiful, a great post war/battle song made by the wife/lover of a fallen one... (at least it is what i think)
Makes me think of the of the Hero's Shade. A theory is that in OOT Link got together with Malon in one of the timelines, and then he went to go fight in wars in order to pursue being a warrior, and died somehow. But this is Wind Waker talking about a dead Zora.
This song reminds me of the love I have for the Zelda series. The adventure, the music, the characters, and the way that Link still conveys feelings without speaking. There is nothing that can contest the love I have for these games. Many call it old, or slow-paced, or boring, but this game, I find, will be more action packed than any shooter, more heart-wrenching than any RPG, more scary than any horror game. Zelda will always have a place in my games-shelf. No matter how old I get, or how bad the games become, I'll always remember these games. Thank you Miyamoto, for blessing us with this beautiful series.
+MinecraftToonLink i love you. lol i grew up with zelda, and i love how the games just give you such a calming atmosphere. The soundtracks are also soo beautiful as well as the design of the games :3
When I was younger, I used to sing this to myself when I was feeling anxious (had bad anxiety back then) and it didn't poof those feelings away like magic, but the song stilled my heart and reminded me the feeling would pass, that everything was alright. Bless this song :)
well done, one of the songs, like ballad of the goddess/zelda's lullaby vocal cover and zelda's lullaby sung by nanami0406 that i cried to. you have my thanks
they said they didn't understand what it was saying, not they didn't know what language it was in. Just because someone knows the language doesn't mean they speak it and or understand it. There are no lyrics written down so you can't just look it up by what it sounds like.
The Dragon Ball Fanatic Just noticed your previous comment. Sorry I didn't realize you were responding to +Mr Ember Craft. I was on mobile and the comment didn't load.
Imagine a wind waker remake but with realistic art, similar to Twilight princess but _better,_ same story but get this, *_RATED M,_* and *_this version of the theme song_*
The song reminds me of the fairy's pond just frozen there quietly waiting for a lullaby passed down from the Hyrulian family. As soon as the song that was passed down was heard, there was voice brought back up. The melodies. The calmness. It brings divine.
This song was one of the greatest musical themes and triumphs of The Wind Waker. My dear lady, I applaud you for making this piece even more beautiful than it was. Something very few people have done.
You know, this really hits different watching the streets outside my window after midnight still working while the world is in lockdown and there is not a single soul to be seen due to a curfew
It's.. An interesting melody. It represents duty, responsibility and faith that comes with the title of the Hero, and it shows sorrow and burden that accompanies. This song holds a true meaning of courage, a heavy price of failure. No glamor, glory or praise, only weight of the world on your shoulders, your sword, and a duty to accomplish. Even if you succeed, you will have to do it again and again, in another life, another body but the same spirit, until the end of time.
@@sorry.it.is.I Thank you for bringing me back here! It's been some time since I heard this song. I love going back to something I watched or listened to, feels like opening a dusty memory box in my attic. Thank you!
This song make me always cry and melancholy, but in a wonderful way. And this version is so wonderful and beautiful. It's like this lament taken and carried by the wind with the voice of a fairy. 💙 🧚♀️
I've never played Windwaker before, didn't even knew about it's existence until a few years ago, but i don't know why i feel like I've heard this before, and i don't mean it in the i heard that melody before, i mean it in the really heard and loved this song, i don't know why it gives me that special hint of nostalgia, but it just does.
This song gives me this feeling of cold, yet brilliantly bright, nostalgia. And in a way, it calms me, and terrifies me at the same time. Like there is something I am not remembering. It is beautiful, and in a way, I am glad I can tap into that feeling, so thank you.
+Hentai ™ Belle doesn't have an s , "Musique super jolie" is "Very beautiful music" ("pretty" doesn't really fit and doesn't sound good) , remember , translating word for word is not always the best idea . i know all that because i'm french :)
Strangley familiar to me... I would like to as well. Very much so! If it's complete we could practice together and stuff~! or if it isn't, we could also help somehow! I also found Zoran alphabets.. Would you like to see?
OOH! OOH! I KNOW THIS ONE! I KNOW THIS ONE! The answer is not everyone knows what Latin sounds like. Seriously. I know, insane thought, but just let that sink in.
This song has haunted me for years; someone had it in the background of their blog and I hadn't been able to find it until now! absolutely breathtaking.
I love this song. The picture fits the tone of the song well and the sound quality is great. (It annoys me slightly that the singers pronounce some of the Latin incorrectly, but I'll get over it for this amazing song.)
Not sure if I've commented already, but I can't seem to say in words how beautiful this is. The language, the vocals, the photo of Link. Ugh. This video is oozing beauty.
I just... wow. This is amazing. A quick note: Ad infinitum means literally translates as to infinity, and ad idem technically only means from the same. This is no way meant as criticism. This song is beautiful and thank you for posting it.
That sounds really great! I've already tried to jot down my name in Hylian (Ofc, it needs improvement and practice, and may not be all that accurate), but that would be really cool ^^ And yes, show me please :3
