And another thing, Laura Canales is remembered as the first female to be accepted into the Tejano music Market that was exclusively all male. Selena was the second but so much more successful. But not all of Laura Canales songs were all that great. So make sure you pick and chose those songs of her that were really good and those are very, very few. Speaking about Selena, she did NOT stick to the Tejano sound after a while BUT her first hit song was a song was all Tejano and called, 'La Tracalera' great song. You'll love that one as well, as a matter of fact, it will fit your style of singing to a 'T', try it, please.
