Very nice and detailed walkthrough of the buffet stating what all the dishes were. Probably one of the best walkthroughs I've seen. There are a lot the issues I have with this buffet; before the pandemic I used to stay at the Main Street all the time and go to the buffets (even had lots of comps) What used to be 7.99 has almost tripled and missing are taco bar, BBQ ribs, clam strips, guacamole, fresh pineapple and watermelon, and lots of desserts. When I started looking at the resort fees and the costs, it just isn't worth it for me being that I have to pay full price for rooms, I'm cursed with a good memory and my average 3-night stay with everything included (transportation, food, room, tips) was just over $43 per day over 118 trips. Thankfully, I still have those memories
I really love your videos. Cool, calm, collected and actually review the food as is (I hate when food vloggers always telling that everything is out of this world).
Thanks for covering my go to place in Fremont! May get back there soon and stay at Main St. Liked it before as its not so loud being further from Experience going on late at night! ALL THE BEST and Cheers :)
You guys do such a great job at showing us the buffet items... I love that you let us know what it is and that you don't go too quickly when showing us the menu items. There are many vloggers that just speed through the whole buffet and you don't really get a clear picture of what they have to offer. Honestly, you do it perfectly and it always feels like you keep your viewers in mind. Thank you so much!!!!
For some reason I just trust Bill and Lisa's Tastebuds. I really like how they critique food, very detailed, and they have never stirred me wrong when I visit some of these places
I'd like to see the dinner at the Main St Station's Garden court buffet. Also, I haven't been to Vegas since the 70's when almost all the food was almost free or free and so were alcoholic drinks when gambling!! Those were the days!! Thanks for telling me how expensive it is now, my perception was from the 70's. I'm miss the 70's Vegas!!
Mel.....say this....reason nowadays the prices of food, labor, costs for equipment is so high, is because Covid pandemic completely SHUT DOWN the entire world....lots of companies went belly up trying to survive WITHOUT income!!! Now....that covid pandemic is finally under control, its "time to catch up with lost revenue"......and thats probably EXACTLY why everything is so darn JACKED UP!!!!
Did you purposely arrive when it opened to avoid the crowds and noise? If so I appreciate it that as a viewer. Nice and quiet background. The pie was my favorite thing lol
$21.00 isn't bad for that Buffett. I would try the Hawaiian Stew and rice, a omelet, fried chicken, baked fish,Turkey w/scalloped potatoes and a nice salad. Carrot cake and icecream for dessert.😁
Thanks for the update! Wooh its already been a couple months since your visit, nice to see they still have the Hawaiian section, the shoyu chicken, and portugese sausages were my favorite yumm, yup 20$ if very good anywhere in Vegas
I'll be checking this out! I tried finding your most recent video of Andiamo's at the D; the only 1 I can find is from 2 years ago; I thought for sure I had watched a more recent one?
So good Main Street offers a All you can eat buffet!! Nice variety and food looked fresh.. amazing choices.. thankful for the Generous array of things to choose from! Food sure looks delicious to me !!😋
Interesting that other buffets are getting rid of salad bars, which I think of as a standard buffet feature. I am also trying to figure out why they use “eatery” and want to get away from “buffet”. So many resets or attempted resets these days. Bill did a great job on walk through. Always a pleasure seeing Bill and Lisa. I am trying to figure out how I can get ahold of Aloha Shoyu out here in Iowa.
I'm beginning to love you two more each day Lisa I love a runny fried egg but the problem is I can't make them the buffet looks good the fruit and cottage cheese yum ❤❤❤
Id definitely eat there. The pricepoint is good & a break from the $50- $70 buffets on the strip. I don't need crablegs on every buffet & they have tons of things I'd eat.
This place is looking good! It's definitely pretty good value! I'm still reeling over the $6 cup of Starbucks at the hotel 😖😉. By the way love your shirt, Bill👍
It is amazing how Garden Court Buffet still stand after all these years. Even the pandemic couldn't falter its existence. I give kudo and salute Main Street Casino for continuing to open this wonderful buffet especially cater to the locals. Buffets are a rare treat in Las Vegas these days.
Im about to go to Vegas again (last time was in 2019) and the majority of buffets on the strip....I come from HI and dress in tshirts and shorts....them fancy restaurants going deny me entering!!!! but thats ok because there maybe smaller eateries that I can handle a good meal
Good morning Bill and Lisa I barely missed y’all I stayed there Saturday night I left Sunday morning I would love to run into y’all y’all to put a big smile on my face so I wish I would’ve stayed a extra day for you I’ll be careful be safe
I wish GC did not change their days and hours of service.....Im practically missing dinner on my upcoming vacation! probably will end up at Cal with the Islands restaurant and the late late diner...or go to Lanai Express or Tony Romas....:(.....I will stop by for brunch though....
Bill....covid REALLY took a toll on businesses, us humans and society......I remember attending the auto show and when I went to GC, they had very convenient hours and days and the food layout was UNREAL!!!
I recently found you guys when I was looking for Hugo Cellar reviews (which yours was the best!) I really enjoy your content, you are such a joy to watch. Great content and filming too! Thanks for taking the time to share your travels with us 💕
Lisa and Bill love the videos and the new tee shirt are they on sale yet? When u tell Bill that parse it make me laugh because it's funny 😄. God bless the both of y'all always and be safe. Baltimore MD 🙏
I’d love to try everything on Lisa’s second plate. I really wanted to try this place on our last trip, but Chris wasn’t interested. I’ll have him watch this and see if your review might change his mind :)
@@billandlisa I just ate at the Bellagio buffet and this buffet looks far better at half the price of $50. There was no fried chicken or pasta dish anywhere to be seen. Never again. What a rip off. Keep the videos coming!
I Love, Love, Love your videos. Have been binge watching, and wondering if you ever did a video on what luggage to use, and how to pack? Thanks for sharing your wonderful life with the world. It makes a difference! 🤩❤🤩
I appreciate your review. It looks good and the price is worth it as you mentioned. That coconut cream pie looks good! The Hawaiian section is something I like eating. Keep up the good videos! I like it when you show the price.
During our stay, we passed on this "buffet", $21 is pretty steep, IMO, knowing what they serve from having eaten here in the past, and it wasn't all that great. But thanks for the video! Our local friends treated us at Southpoint lunch buffet, more reasonably priced, and they serve Prime Rib everyday for dinner! Lunch was really good, so we treated them to the Prime Rib dinner. Not disappointed at all! Really wanted to go for breakfast, too, as Loco Moco was on the menu, but we never made it. Please visit the Beef Jerky Store!
We were there in Oct. 2022 and sadly the Garden Court Eatery was "Closed"!!! 😩 We didn't ask why but we suspect there must have been a employee shortage. Covid really hurt us in more ways than we realize. Aloha!!!
We always eat at this buffet every time we go to Vegas and it has always been good. The hard part for me is to watch how much I eat so im not miserable after we leave. The omelets and French toast are a killer.
gotta watch now.....I "think' there was a clause about over indulging (filling too much on your plate and wasting 1/2).....some korean AYCE places in HI.....Camellia Buffet etc, when you are done and they find out you wasted plenty food on your dish.....the gal will inform the cashier and she WILL add an extra for that waste....
K, we’ve always pass the main station Buffett to go California for oxtail soup, but thank you for this review! Kalua pig and cabbage is a go to for me, and I’m definitely a shoyu on da rice and sunny side up eggs! Actually I’m a shoyu on any thing kinda person! Love your videos and your personalities! Bring it on!🤙🏽
robin....if you are a customer/client of the hotel chain (CAL, Fremont, Orleans, etc)....go to Fremont and find Lanai Express next to Dunkin Donuts....they also serve Oxtail Soup and rice....get that cilantro too (chinese parsley with a hint of mint) and indulge!!!!!!!!
Bill and Lisa, I'm so glad that you give information on Hawaiian food. I'm going to Hawaii for the first time at the end of this month and I love your opinions on the island food, wherever you go. Thank you for educating me on the South Pacific culture!
Quick google search… In Hawaiian, the word kālua translates as “to cook in an underground oven.” Known as an imu, this method of cooking is still in use today.
