I've only tried Wicked Spoon, but I really enjoyed it. I would eventually like to try Bacchanal and the Wynn when I come back, but I did really like the single serving dish set up at Wicked Spoon.
Great review! I would never do Circus Circus's buffet. Yuck. Wynn, Bacchanal and Wicked Spoon are all good. I miss Aria's buffet, their Indian food was amazing. I feel like Bellagio really let their buffet slide. Where it should be excellent like it was years ago, now it's only fairly decent IMO. I'm glad you had a relatively good buffet at Excalibur. I will try. BTW, did Paris close their buffet??
Does Bellagio still have the crabs in the evening? Usually stay at the Wynn. The latest buffet reviews of the Wynn buffet don’t excite me. I don’t like snow crabs. When at Wynn, we eat at URTH for breakfast. Second floor on the Plaza Shops. Cooked to order food, no wait staff, 5 stars for the price. Order, pay and wait at the table. Go there most Thanksgivings on our anniversary. We live in Ohio.
Thank you! It's unfortunate that the pandemic saw the permanent departure of a number of buffets, and many of the dinner buffets. Have you tried the Palms or Garden Court yet?
For me personally and I think for many others, buffets are a dying breed and a thing of the past. Many of the people that go to LV today are more interested in curated food experiences, cocktail bars and speakeasies, celebrity chef owned restaurants and healthier food choices. Quality over quantity 😎
Personally, I don't eat enough to make it worthwhile. Though I also feel celebrity chef places are overpriced (I'll do fine dining but I'll do Oscar's over Gordon Ramsays Steakhouse for instance)
A current apples to apples comparison of the Strip’s Buffets… and you’ve accounted for taste, range of food options, price point, dining environment and overall sense of perceived value! Well done, you two!! Now… all we need to know is what Piñata thinks… puppet? What puppet?
@@UpUpOurWay I'm from Israel. And regardless of any political opinions one might have, there is a world wide concensus about our kitchen. Living in America makes culinery aspects difficult for us Israelies. I'm sure Italians and French folks feel the same
This lady does nothin but talks negative..she doesnt know what good buffet is..she probably went to circus circus when it opened. That's why nobody was there
No, it was after 10:00 am. Just trying to save everyone. If you actually watched the rest of the video, you’d know that I enjoyed the majority of them. If you like circus circus buffet then more power to you! When the cashier asked if we wanted to look at the buffet before we paid, that should have been a sign .
Why would you include a buffet (Wicked Spoon) that you haven't been to in over a year when this video is supposed to be for "Best And Worst On The Strip For 2024". That tells us that quiet likely the video content might not be as current as the title suggests. Disappointed....
Thanks for watching! It’s hard to go try 8 buffets in a couple weeks. For full disclosure we wanted to share those details in the video, so you are aware. We rather you be disappointed in the timing than us lying about it. Take care!
Great review. I would agree that of the lower end MGM properties, Excalibur is probably the best. Cosmopolitan is probably my favorite, but I haven’t tried, Caesar’s or Wynn’s buffets.❤
I can't wait for Las Vegas there gonna love my new outfits there Perfect for the Clubs and the Casino. Jus let me win at Black Jack and I'll make a real living and life there. I'm really Good and my outfits are Perfect for the Clubs and the Casinos.
That’s a great question! I’d say Bachannal or Wynn beat any all inclusive. But we have stayed at some all inclusive resorts that had incredible buffets. Just like you’d expect, the more you pay, the better the food.
At Caesars you will wait even with a reservation, unless you are Diamond+. I wouldn't go back to Caesar's but Wynn definitely. You not only want a reservation but pay ahead. Unless you are Platinum+.
I hope bellagio buffet does step up their game. They have a beautiful property and hoping this buffet hits top #3 in future . Wicked spoon is decent but I rather go to wynn for variety . Great clip ❤
made a reservation at bacchanal coming up for my trip in april. I thought it was only $65 for brunch? Hm. Might have to switch to wynn. Great video, thanks!!!
Great review. Agree Wynn is tops with Caesars slightly behind. The biggest disappointment by far is the Buffet at Bellagio. Before the pandemic it was tolerable to good but now it’s just simply awful.
Lmbo yes that made me hungry 😂. Thanks for trying these buffet out. And showing the food. Looks like there's really only 2 or 3 good ones to go to. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful WinsDay. ❤🥰❤
I moved out to Las Vegas in 2004. I went to Texas Station buffet a couple of times. I don’t know if it’s still open but I always had a good time there. Man I really miss Las Vegas.
I had the MGM buffet 21 years ago. It was a champagne brunch buffet. Was pretty awful 😖 I think it cost $16.99 and I felt that was a rip off😂$31.99 now😮
A lot of buffets are closed permanently, but on the strip 8 remain open. On Fremont street only Main Street Station Casino has a buffet. Two other hotels with buffets off strip are the Palms and M. Before basically all hotels had buffets.
A strip buffet...whoooo eeeeyyyy now that's MY kind of buffet *gets $1 bills ready, sits by closest table for action* Pause...watches video...oh, LV Strip buffet, as in food. Oh okay. Thanks!
It's nice to know that Excalibur bumped up its buffet towards respectability. I remember going there about a decade or so ago and it was just absolutely awful.
Decent review! Wynn, as you correctly stated, is currently the best overall. It isn’t perfect though (we mostly stay at the Encore and eat regularly at the buffet). In my opinion, it is borderline not a good value for the cost vs price. If you factor in the ambience and food quality, you maybe can probably justify the price + tip especially if you mostly eat the meats and sea food. If you are just going to load up on cheap carbs, it’s not worth the price. The Baccanal Buffet on the other hand is nice, very expensive, very crowded, but can be disappointing when you take a deeper dive into the whole experience. The last time we checked it out (did a walk through) it was a calamity. There were plates piled up everywhere, food all over the stations, lack of food refresh, questionable sanitation. It honestly looked like a tornado hit the place. We walked right out of there after viewing it and went back to the Wynn. If you are going to,do the Baccanal My suggestion would be to go there early… maybe right after they open, and avoid going after super busy hours like lunch and dinner. All said it was a good general review in my opinion.
Thanks for a great video. I’ll be there in July for my birthday. Any of the Buffet’s do anything special on your birthday? What’s the difference at the Wynn Buffer btw brunch & dinner since the price difference is $20? Thanks again!
Last month I made a reservation at the Bacchanal two weeks in advance. But after waiting 1.5 hours in line I gave up. Reminded me of the Seinfeld episode They knew how to take the reservation but not how to hold it.
We have been to every high end buffet in Vegas, multiple times. We just went to the Bacchanal for the last time. The place absolutely reeks of cigarettes. The food tastes like cigarettes as well. The quality of the food is very low end. The crab is fine but the rest of it is all hype. They try and make the ordinary food look fancy but it is still crap on toast. We have had much better experiences at lower cost buffets. Don't waste your time or money.
