Love the Downtown Grand. Live music in Freedom Beat, bottomless mimosas and bloody mary's for $16. PBR beer and hotdog for $2 bucks. PBR beer with a shot of bourbon for $5. Low limit table games. Blackjack for $1 and Craps for $5. Pizza Rock has great happy hour deals as does Triple George's. And it's close to the Freemont Street Experience but far enough away so it's not so loud. I am so happy you dicovered Pizza Rock! That pizza is fantastic! We love the Grand! There have been changes since the pandamic ie: there use to be this beautiful flower arrangement in the lobby. I loved those arrangements! The Art bar is still cool as well as Freedom Beat, good food. That place changed for the better after the first year it opened. Rooms are great! Clean and comfortable! Someday you will need to do a staycation there. Thanks for all the videos you do! ❤

We've stayed at Downtown Grand three or four times and have always loved our stays. The rooms are very clean. The Mob Museum is one of our favorite attractions. Outstanding video!
What a great video. I loved the history about Lady Luck and some of the older clips that you inserted. Paula definitely got her walking steps in on this vlog. Pizza Rock is definitely on my list for December. They have so many different varieties of pizza I’ll have a hard time deciding which one to choose. The outro was so funny with Dale counting all the money he’s won recently. 😂

Loved this video! The Downtown Grand was the first hotel we visited after COVID-19. Pizza Rock was also the first restaurant we tried after everything opened back up. They have a great HH, plus amazing pie. The rooms are clean and nice and priced very well. Thanks for another great video!
We were in town, from Canada on Labour Day weekend and that rain was WILD!!!! Unexplainable unless you’re there, honestly! This video was fantastic! I love that you take us to places we wouldn’t normally go and now we’ve added to our list, to visit!
Great video. Downtown Grand has a great daily Prime Rib special at the Freedom Beat plus you cant beat the 2 DOLLAR hot dog and beer served daily from 11 am from their retro hot dog cart. I also love the Detroit style pizza at Pizza Rock.

Pizza Rock is on the "to do" list. Looks great. Did the Mob Museum years ago and what a place! One of the best museums I've ever been in with fantastic exhibits. I'm from Chicago and grew up there in the '60's. Went to high school with some of the kids whose dads were "connected". As a matter of fact Penny's brother married a girl whose father was "connected". I'll have to tell you the story sometime. All I'll say now is that Penny's brother took his wife - notice I'm not using names - to see The Godfather and his wife started to cry halfway through the movie. Penny's brother asked what was wrong and she said: "that's my dad". Yikes!
Looks like you had a lot of fun. That was very entertaining. The Grand looks like an interesting place to stay. I don't get to Vegas much, so I can't see myself staying downtown. But it looks like a visit will be order. Great job!
Great job!! Funny coincidence, me and my husband will be celebrating our fifteenth wedding anniversary in Vegas, with a vow renewal. We were married at a courthouse. But this time, the ceremony will be at the little church of the west, and our reception will be at the Mob Museum. Again another great video!! ❤

I have been to Pizza rock but it was so busy that I had to get a slice to go. It was 11 pm. Busy and well worth it. Great for downtown plus I have gambled at the Grand and love the smaller space and need to stay there when i am next in town,
Between wanting to try Pizza Rock, Evil Pie and Secret pizza, I am probably going to be fluent in Italian by the end of my next trip! I love the more laidback vibe of downtown. Sorry Dale isn’t a fan. I always tell people to do the strip on weekdays and downtown on weekends. Both are fun in different ways. Great video as always!

Great video as always, you have us very spoiled!. For a while I thought Lady Luck was going to end up as a pile of gravel, as there was no sign of any one caring. Mr. Goodman really stepped up and pressured for the remodel, and that they did, turned an old decrepit, smelly shady place into what now is the Down Town Grand ( It was going to be named just "The Grand", but there was another development planed in the north strip by some middle east developers with that name, so lady lucks name had to be "downtown Grand". Al the area is revitalized, it's a good area, great Pizza by the way ( and nice hat jajaja). all that area was a bit dicey to walk, but now it's a lot better. Thanks again Dale, Thanks again Paula (and thank you for showing Dale the proper way to eat pizza jajaja (Dale eat pizza the way you want, when you want)
Downtown Grand is certainly a nice option for staying downtown 👌 it’s comfortable and quiet! The Mob Museum is awesome…so much history👍! I have not yet tried Pizza Rock but it is on the Frontiersman to do list… hopefully in October 🍕🤞! Hogs and Heifers is a Unique experience for sure …😅! What a great job highlighting this little corner of downtown! Can’t wait to get back! Hope you two have a great week ❤️!!!

Next time you go to Pizza Rock get an order of the Gorgonzola cheese fries. They are addictive! I agree about the pizza. It’s some of the best I’ve ever had.
Went to downtown Grand recently to visit my son and his family who were staying there. Got me a players card and joined him in gambling for several hours. Walked about and grabbed dinner at California Hotel. When leaving the parking garage I inquired about free or reduced parking for locals, which I was told none existed. Come to find out after putting out $20 for parking that with a players card and the gambling I could have parked for free!! Thanks for the heads up Downtown Grand!!😂

Was Dale lucky at Keno? 😁 Paula, my brother and I were in the area of the Mob Museum (before it opened) as we wanted to catch The Deuce to take us back to the Strip. It was around 11:00 pm on a weeknight and the streets were quiet, save for a few shady looking characters. Lady Luck was closed too, so needless to say, we were glad to get the heck away from there! 😮 What a change from 2006 to now!

That pizza joint looked really nice and the pizza seemed to be very tasty. That might be a place that I will check out during my next trip. After the city of LV purchased the building, they had an extensive and costly study done and the result was a fabulous cultural center that would include local history, mob stuff, art, education, and a small amphitheater for music. The renderings were beautiful. And after all that, it was turned into the mob museum. Very disappointing.
When the government finally able to take the mobsters to court, this building was one of the locations that they did that. During the tour you sit in the actual court house. So I think it's absolutely appropriate.
I stayed in the standard room clean,bed comfortable, bathroom clean and roomy. The staff atthe table could have been a bit more friendly. Overall a thumbs 👍 👌 c great value

We have been to the Atomic Testing Museum, and it is wonderful - but that was before our vlogging days. We also had the great privilege of taking the day tour from there to the Nevada Test Site - now THAT is a fascinating thing to see! (Absolutely no filming though, you cannot even bring a phone)
I have a question for you Las Vegas pros. I’ve always loved to visit Vegas. But recently my husband passed away. I’m wondering if there are senior groups that travel or meet in Vegas. I’m pretty independent but would be good to know other people that are at same hotel so we could check on each other.
I love this idea, Sandy - and I am sure there must be travel groups as you mention. I don't know of any personally though - I guess I'd suggest looking on the web, or maybe contacting a travel agency, just inquiring? Looks like you are in Arizona, and I bet there are bus trips maybe, from Phoenix?
