As a vegas local, it’s so refreshing to see true off the strip gems. These really are great places and I’ve brought a handful of out of towners to places like these so they appreciate a diff side of Sin City. Great job
I love Capo's Speakeasy. Amazing Italian food in a dark and atmospheric speakeasy that you enter through a pay phone on the wall. 3 miles off the strip.
There's more to life in las vegas than gambling, the strip and Freemont st. Thanks for a great perspective. We are going to be in Vegas for Christmas and will probably go back again in 2023. Our plan is to rent a car, see red Rock canyon and the hoover dam. I'm going to save your video for reference and visit places featured in this great video. 👍
I'm currently in my hometown of Montreal but resided in Vegas for 1 1/2 years until 2020. My plan is to go back to live there by the end of the year and so appreciated finding out about spots I hadn't yet discovered. You're an excellent host and the production value of your videos is very high. It's obvious you put a lot of effort into it so I'll try to spread the word as a channel of this quality deserves to have more subscribers. Keep up the great work.
I get to Vegas a few times a year, and just stumbled onto your channel. THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH! Things, places, and such I never even knew were there! Awesome!!!
After 36 years of living here, I think it's better to just visit...The dryness is really affecting me now, big time! I need to see some green vegetation already!🌱🌿🌳
Believe it or not Hawaii which is so humid can also be hugely drying. AC and ceiling fans also suck moisture out of the air. The trade winds blowing dehydrate you as well not to mention the insane UV. Index. Soooo, I use a pet water fountain, so cute, lotus flower center, running day and night to help keep moisture in the air. You can also go to "Gardyn" and do indoor green food or herb growing. Humidifier in the bedroom and pedestal plants throughout the apartment. When outdoors I employ a trick a woman from Austrailias outback taught me. Get a nylon stretch skinny strap tank top from Wal-Mart, soak it, wring it out and pop it in the freezer. Your body will freak for a moment when you put it on. But you throw a light weight cotton shirt over it. When you body heat wicks off and you are. 15 degrees cooler, you body will thank you!!! This is so good for your heart and lungs. The other thing is drinking water with mint and cucumbers help you retain your hydration. I'm coming to Vegas in July and I can't wait!!! I beat the heat, now if I can beat the house!
I just discovered your channel ( and now have subscribed ) and I’m impressed with your original content. I’ve been to Vegas many times but you review places that are new to me. I’m from Canada and before Covid I would go to Vegas 3 times a year. Now that travel restrictions have been lifted I’ve been back 2 times and will be there again in August. Thanks to your videos I’ve got new places to try. I have to Google how far that 50’s diner is from the Strip because it looks so cool.
Having lived here for 30 odd years it's nice to see someone finally actually giving out the info about the real hidden gems. There are plenty more hidden away, though 2020 killed off a few. Next time you guys are coming to town drop me a line, I will send you an email from my work.
Just discovered this video. I lived and worked in Downtown Las Vegas for 3 years before I moved back to New York City and I still come to Vegas twice a year. The places you mentioned downtown, Ferguson's and Atomic Liquors, I have seen. Mothership Cafe in Ferguson's is wicked awesome. Some of the other places like Primal and Juan's, I had never heard of before. I want to check out that mural alley when I go back in late May
Wow! Great video, again! Nice work! I have seen quite a few vids on vegas and the hidden spots. But I think this is a great one! I have not seen most of the spots you have found, cool spots too btw. :) Makes me wanna book a trip there for the wife and I lol. I hope this video reaches many, many people. Has great suggestions and cool finds. Anyways, great work.! Cheers!
So we just did the Atomic Scooters guided Art Instagram tour. It was AWESOME!! Matt’s knowledge of the history and his photography is perfect. Great great idea. Ty for highlighting this travel tip.
Great recommendations Aly. Was just in Vegas last month and had a great breakfast at a place called Eat, sort of hidden behind the container park. Super friendly staff and great food. Give it a shot!
This video was great and reminded me I need to get out more. lol! I have lived in Vegas since 2005 and have only heard of a handful of these places. I have dined at Juan's and they are fantastic. The queso is amazing!
Just found you. Great video. You found some definite gems. Most of the other LV RU-vidrs all have the same "hidden gems". Well, if everyone knows about them, how hidden can they be? Lol
Glad you liked the video! My favorite hobby is searching out hidden gems - and that's the best part about Vegas, there's always something new popping up.
I have lived in Vegas for so long and didn't know some of these places or the appeal of it until you showcased the inside. :D Glad you're doing these extensive videos. Please do more in different categories :)
Great video. Luv off the strip gems❤ Thanks for showing Primal and the Lion Habitat. I'm gonna check those out on my next trip to Vegas. More videos like this please🥰 Subbed 👍
I’ve been to Vegas probably 16 times. The more I go, the more I look for things off strip. These are great and out of all of the Vegas channels I follow, you only mention 2 that I seen elsewhere. I’m subscribing because you REALLY know Vegas!!
Wow thank you so much! I LOVE searching out hidden gems in all my travels. I can't wait to film part 2! I have sooo many places on my list. Thanks for subscribing :)
Fun video - refreshing actually. For those of us who are not acquainted with Las Vegas/Clark County, it would be helpful to hear "where " within the region - Enterprise, Henderson, Boulder City, Lone Mountain, etc. Just mentioning a place is in the Arts District, Downtown (both of which you mentioned), etc. is helpful. I look forward to seeing more of your videos.
Might have to cancel our reservation at top of the world and eat at Primal instead my goodness.. I’ve watched a LOT of Las Vegas guide videos planning the first stop on our honeymoon road trip but this has been by far my favorite one 😍
The fajitas place looked fantastic! Shrimp fajitas please! And the mob museum would be super cool to go thru. I also liked the pinball. Place! Who knew! Thanks!
Subscribed! Been going to Vegas for years now and have only been to two of the places in your video and had heard of two more but haven't been yet. Very well done, and great info for our next trip!
Going to Vegas in October and all these places sound extremely interesting. Will definitely check out the food places and the pinball machines... Great video. Props on going out of your way to show these gems. Ps... Damn giraffe is hilarious 😂
Great video! Exactly what I was looking for. I think I may try the Pinball Hall of fame. You offered alot of new options for me that I haven’t found on other posts
New subscriber here . That Mexican restaurant , Primal Steakhouse , & the pinball place look awesome!! Hope to go to all of them when I return for another stay .
Will definitely check out the medieval themed restaurant! Have been to the mob museum! Love the graffiti murals! Have a wonderful day beautiful lady😘😘😘xox
This video is fantastic! I had no idea there was a speak easy at the mob museum. This was a great video that makes me want to go to Vegas and ban any strip activities for all these places.
So I'm going a week before Xmas! I wonder how cold will it be? I'm specifically going to visit Zak Bagans museum BUT after watching yr video I am def going to drop in at Primal Steakhouse! It looks so freaking awesome! Thanks for the recommendations! You rock
Claim Jumper was on our list!! My friends who are locals told us to go there, and with your recommendation as well, I will definitely make time to check it out for when we film part 2, thanks :)
