So we get dinged for not drafting a QB when none were available .. if we drafted Penix at 13 these nerds would have said it was too early .. but because Atlanta took him at 8 when no one I mean no one had him going that high there saying we should of somehow came up with a young QB 🤦🏻‍♂️

You guys are seriously underrating this Raiders roster and coaching staff. The idea of trading Davante couldn't be more foolish. Especially after they just gave the bag to Wilkins.

I really, really hope Aiden or Gardner hear all these negative comments and use at a fuel and just go off this season.

Getsy was Packers WR coach with Tae and runs the same offense. Tae is pumped and said on Maxx show it is the same verbiage when he was in Green Bay.

These PFF nerds are the worst. Even insinuating that Bo Nix is better at being a NFL qb than Minshew or AOC is ABSURD. These are the SAME GUYS that were gobbling Zach Wilson, Bryce Young, Mac Jones, and Kenny Pickett. They were saying that other teams "missed out" on these guys. Per NFL network: Garden Minshew had the highest passer rating out of 12 Personnel. Makes me feel pretty good having him under center with Mayer and Bowers as TEs

when grading the draft its unfair to ding them so hard for things they had no control over, they need to be graded for what they did under the circumstances. Its not like the Raiders didnt try to trade up for Pennix(they were not interested in McCarthy or Nix), ATL blew any chance the Raiders had at acquiring him when they selected him at #8. Considering the situation they where at #13 and #44, they get an A+ for those two picks alone. These guys even said Bowers might be the best player in this draft when taking position out of it. Hard to ding a team for getting that kind of dude at #13. Having said that, the Raiders need to make sure they get Bowers involved often. While AOC/Minshew isnt ideal, a ton of weapons around them now. Adams, Meyers, Tucker, Bowers, Mayer, and Luabe out of the backfield. Also considering how badly the Raiders have drafted over the years, they knocked it out of the park. Very little risk with these picks

AOC has always shown improvement throughout his career in college trust he’s gonna do it in the NFL as well 🛡️⚔️🏴‍☠️🫡

People are overlooking Minshew's playmaking ability. Go back and watch a few videos from 2023 of him and AOC and compare. Gardner knows how to extend plays, lead receivers, hit weak spots in zone, and is straight up more accurate. Not trying to hate on AOC, but from what I can tell, he relied heavily on his receivers to make a good play. He may grow to be better with more experience, but I am convinced that Minshew (only 27 yrs old btw) gives the team a better shot short-term and long-term when looking at these two in a vacuum.

Raiders are winning bare minimum 9 games max 11games,and either QB can get the job done & will get it done this team is coached up!

AOC is gonna send you all scrambling to scrub these terrible QB takes from RU-vid.

Every analyst seem to always overlook the raiders defense. They’re top 10 last yr and top 2 since week 9. Also AP AND AOC are 3-1 against division

If you can make it to the super bowl with Brock Purdy & win one with Trent Dilfer/Nick Foles. I'm pretty sure AOC & Minshew are atleast just as good as these guys. I would rather have everything else on the team and missing a QB than have nothing else but a QB (Chargers/Broncos)

What a lot of people seem to overlook, in terms of us not drafting a QB. Even if we traded up and got Penix or Nix, is either one of those guys better than O‘Connell or Minshew from day one? I don’t think so. They may have a higher upside and maybe blossom in year 2 or 3. instead we got a player in Bowers, who will have an immediate impact on the offense. Having him, Adams, Meyers plus an even better Oline will make Minshew‘s or O‘Connell‘s life so much more easier. They don’t have to play like wizards, for us to be good. As long as they can manage the game, we‘ll be fine for now. We will be in a position next year to trade up for a QB with less holes on our roster.

I remember Sam Monson saying the Raiders drafting Brock Bowers in the first round in the past mock draft , I let him have it in the comments lol I owe him a apology .He was right on 🎯 I’m cool with AOC or GM but I do feels bum out about not getting QB .And I’m talking 4th 5th round got to take a swing ⛳️🏌🏾‍♂️

Fellow Raider Fans, why so sensitive? They are not critiquing the Raiders draft but how unfortunate it is that the Raiders were unable to get what they really wanted all along which was a QB.

2 TE jumbo sets normally don't include 2 guys who can block and catch the ball. Most teams who run jumbo sets don't have Davante Adams or Meyers and don't sleep on Trey Tucker. Plug n play, grind it out offense, with potential to be deadly on play action and serious mismatches/guys able to get open all around the field.

A dynamic tight end that played 40% or something like that of his snaps in the slot. Hes a better playmaker than any of the receivers that aren’t MHJ or Nabers and will be more effective

Teams succeed when they match system to player. They hired Getsy to run a 12 set, probably because both Minshew has excelled in that system. Similarly, they took Bowers because with Mayer, it gives them outstanding skill players for that system.

You have to aknowledge that the players they drafted in the first three rounds will all make the starting QB better, maybe much better. I much prefer this to giving up three first round picks to get a top 3 QB who if history is any guide, has a 50-50 chance of being a franchise QB.

I don't see anything in AOC and Minshwe's game to tell me the QB spot is solved. People were saying the same thing when last year we got the "winning machine" JG and suddenly he got exposed. AOC showed flashes but he needs a clean pocket to win, he's a sitting duck most of the times. He can't scramble, can't improvised and can't run even if his life depends on it. Too many factors needed to bet on him for the future in my opinion. Last year almost all of our wins were because of our defense (besides the Chargers game) , neither of our QBs did much to earn the position.That's why AP wanted a QB so badly. Minshew is definetly the better QB right now but I don't think is a solution. If he was soo good as people say he is, he wouldn't be a journey man. I think Penix is far from perfect but if he stays healthy, he will outplay both of them soon. Our team got better aftet the draft wich is definetly good, but also means we'll probably get a worst pick next year to be in the QB market again... I hope we're just not in a limbo of mediocrity.

We have more weapons than ANYONE. With an amazing defense. Think we beat the chiefs last year without our qb completing a pass for 3 qaurters. Add wilkins add bowers...hmm minshew was a game out the playoffs ON A FAR FAR WORSE team than ours RN4L just watch this year is gonna be special

I was mad when the Falcons drafted Penix. When my Raiders passed on Fuaga and every defender in the draft I turned it off. But part of that is a whole lot of bad history. I see our boy Aiden as a Kirk Cousins type player, potentially.

We couldn't get the QB but my Raiders got great players. Mumford will be an awesome tackle so it wasn't as big of a need as people acted like and BTW Devonte Adams isn't going anywhere so stop talking about it people, it's dumb

Everyone loves drafting BPA in the first round until the Raiders do it... the reason why players drop and BPA is a thing is because of events like this draft where 6 QB's are taken in the first 12 picks. This sounds like PFF trying to discredit the Raiders by any means necessary for picking a guy they personally love per their own stats/valuation. Lol.

It wouldn’t make sense to trade for Adams now. We wouldn’t get that much for him and it wouldn’t be anything that helps us now. Tae loves being a Raiders and he’s going to do everything he can to help this organization and help Minshew and AOC get better.

Meanwhile on offense we have top tier receivers, top tier tight ends, an above average line, and two at worst DECENT QBs...with one of them entering year 2 after finishing his 1st season with 8TDs - 0INTs down the stretch. I would take a AoC over a Bo Nix 100 out of 100 drafts. NTY to a million bubble screens from my QB.

They lost a game 3-0. Can anyone honestly say Davante Adams is a 50/50 ball kinda player or is he a get wide open and use the angles to score? If Bowers is anything like his highlight reel, he could arguably be the best player on the roster, on offense. Who is his competition? Again they LOST 3-0. If Adams isn't thrown the ball exactly the way he likes it the pass is getting broken up. Bowers is looking to hit someone and looks like a video game player on tape. He's way more ready than all those overrated qb's. Last time the Raiders won the Super bowl they had arguably the best TE in football.
